1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Blue Fairy Pocket Fairy Discussion part 2

Dec 18, 2012

1. Wow, hard to choose between those three...
Lol! I'm afraid this is more of an enabling group, but hey, I support you!

I've wanted a Jimmy for a while but especially a Baked version. I didn't think I'd get a chance without secondhand market prices. Gee -- he's so affordable!
Alas, I'm paying off other tinies too. Bluefairy doesn't do layaway, right?

2. He's not as affordable if you want wig, shoes and outfit they all add up, I don't think so on the layaway...you could message them on the Q&A board they do respond quickly but they are going on holiday!?

3. And face up is additional too.
Sigh.

I guess I could try Paypal's form of layaway. It's hard to pass up a Baked anything that's direct from Bluefairy.

4. I adore all the Jimmy's you have midolls*melissa ^^

Jimmy is so cute! I wish I'd hav finances but not this time... ^^; uh oh.

5. I have just adopted a Taro sugar, so now the search begins for clothes and shoes. :)

6. yes I forgot about the face-up too...but is very hard to pass up I know...I have my three and am having a hard time not wanting more because it is baked skin...but I really did want a different face mould in baked skin like a Yoko, Fei or Noma...I have used paypal *layaway* on other doll sites but they never give me the 6 month when I order from BF site?

Thank you Xaya...Jimmy is my all time favorite PF face mould...I hear you on the finances being tight...I'm stretched way beyond my comfort zone right now so no new PF's for me either.

Congratulations on your new Taro Sugar...I've seen a baked version of Taro and love it too...good luck on the clothes search and definitely post pics of what you find for her.

7. Congrats! I have a baked Taro and love her to bits!). She still needs a proper wig though. I couldn't resist and ordered Jimmy! Perhaps when I have two I will play with Taro more. I do need to order wigs, clothes and shoes though!

8. Taro Sugar made it home today! She's adorable,I'm so pleased with her! :) The outfit was made for a Blythe, but fits her nicely.

9. Taro took the dress right off Lati Yellow Momo's back! She says she'll return it when her new dress arrives...

10. I thought I recognizes the Taro's name. She is adorable in both dresses.

11. Thanks, Marti! I have a dress on order for her, Lucy wants that one back! :)

12. Hello. I love the tall ones. How tall are they?
Thanks

13. The sugar body is 19cm. :)

14. Evil Opal is sending her Taro to live with me. Probably my fault for getting her into Latis. :) I was curious, has anyone tried the new miniature Our Generation line clothes and shoes on the Sugar body? I have a 19cm CustomHouse girl that's a bit thicker and they fit fabulously. The shoes are a tad small though.

15. Not yet, but I could! I do know the clothes fit Secretdoll Persons quite well except for the waist -- much too wide -- but Sugars might have enough hip to hold them up.
I'll see if I can try them tonight...

16. That would be awesome! She should hopefully be here tomorrow or Friday so I can try them on too ;)

17. Well, here's my Sugar Yoko in a 'Lori' denim shirt, skirt and socks --

Verdict: not so great but acceptable. The shirt is loose in the body but very tight in the arms. I didn't think I'd get her hands through but I just managed. The skirt is ready to fall off with the slightest shimmy but it's velcro down the entire back so it could be taken in easily. Socks aren't bad. I didn't try the shoes -- they'd be clown feet for sure -- but I should try the sunglasses. If I can find where DD put them, I'll do that -- they're on her mini AG doll with the shoes, I suspect.

The shirt fit better on the Secretdoll Person, the skirt fit better on the Sugar PF... I'd say look for short sleeves, one piece or dresses, forget about the shoes and you could cobble together some cheap outfits without too much trouble.
Hope that helps!

18. It does! Thank you! It will at least do till I can get into the sewing room
