1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Blue Fairy Pocket Fairy Discussion part 2

Dec 18, 2012

    1. I asked BF that same question when they first came out. Here's their answer --

Thanks for your inquiry. The Jimmy Milky Fairy open eye head and the Jimmy Pocket Fairy head are same size and look same, as well. The differences between them are the Milky head has the magnetic head and the skin color is matched to the Milky Fairy's body color. The Pocket head is the previous S-hook type head and also, the skin color is matched to the normal body color. Please let us know if you have any more inquiries.

Thank you and have a good day.
      Bluefairy

I think they've changed the PF head to a magnet now instead of an 'S' hook too as midolls just received a PF with a magnet connection.
      Hope that helps!

    2. The Milky Fairy also has painted eyes and will be off topic for DOA. They are also smaller as they take a 3 in wig.

Edit: There is a option for opened eyes!

    3. Thank you, for your answers. My two pocketfairies both have an s-hook.
I understand there is a difference in color, and there are two sizes.

    4. That is quite an improvement, Melissa!

    5. Peppermintsheep I didn't realize Rascal Jimmy is a Pocket Fairy! Looking forward to seeing photos!

    6. There's a new notice on the Blue Fairy website. "Order for the baked skin products, which has been asked from many customers, will be open from Feb. 22nd to Feb. 29th. "
I am Looking forward to see if and which pocket fairies will be available!

Edited to add that only tiny fairies will be available. Such a bummer!

    8. Oh my gosh, thank you for this. I just got a Sugar Body for my PF Yoko today and couldn't figure out what was going on with her old style S-hook head. And here was a photo showing me exactly what I needed. So relieved. :D

    9. I need help from someone experienced in the pocket fairy molds more than me ^^'''

Is she a Minimay or a Taro?

    10. In post #200 I have a picture of some of my pocketfairies ,there is both Taro and miniMay there. I think she looks like May.

    11. Thanks for the reply, I've also looked to you pictures on flickr, it helped!
It's my second pocket fairy, but it's still hard to tell one mold from another sometimes!
There is a secret? or you only need more training? XD
Anyway I think I'll look for a sugar body for this girl, I love that size *___*

    12. I'm starting to wonder if mine was stringed wrong. There's no S-hook in her head, the string goes through the hook in the headcap.

From the FAQ post on 'how to string a pocket fairy" it does look like there's not supposed to be an s-hook though.

    13. Pocketfairy came both ways with S hook and without...definitely easier with S hook for changing eyes...also easier for changing bodies

    14. @xaya Thanks for the info!
I was planning to get a sugar body for my girl, but now I'm wondering if it's better to wait or to get the "old" style body!
I haven't seen one for selling in the marketplace in the last period! >__<

    15. Is anyone taking advantage of the lower price for the Pocket Fairy? I'm going back and forth over the body renewal. If I want one more of the classic style I'll have to choose now.

    16. I'd really like! But I don't know what kind of renewal will be... So it's hard to decide what is better...
Has someone infos about the new bodies?
