Blue Fairy Pocket Fairy Discussion part 2

.-. i cant tell what skin color my May is, all i know is she was purchased by the original owner 4 years ago =p she's quite a bit darker than my ns dolls but they're all other companies. anyone have any idea what little Issy is?

 

She looks NS, I have all the bluefairy Skin colours aside from Misty rose, I wouldn't have thought she was misty rose if she's any darker than your other dolls. I have found Bluefairy's NS is slightly darker than some companies. She certainly isn't Baked skin so I'd be willing to be she's NS.

Yes, Bluefairy resin has been through many changes and I know there were certainly darker periods. It's lighter now what it ever was apparently.

 

OMG, you got a baked skin Remmy?!! can you tell me where? I've been wanting one since I first saw them, omg I dying here crying and everything...no pressure or anything...

I ordered bother their outfits in pepper because I couldn't decide which outfit I wanted for Remmy, Marine scout or Blanc marine so now he has both! However that means my May doesn't really have any clothes. Are they easy to sew for? How far off fitting Blythe clothes are they? Obviously not bottoms but tops, coats etc. and can they wear Pureneemo xs dresses or only tshirts?
I may make a dress today since I have the measurements and hope it fits!!

 

Last_bus_home: Congrats on your new ones! I can't wait to see pics! For clothes, Blythe will be to big. Middie Blythe fits as dose Betsy McCall, Madeline, and Azone XS. Azone S will work for longer t-shirts, but they run a tiny bit big. Old pic as I only have one now, but both are in Azone XS:

I do sew, and if you like to sew for tiny stuff, it's not hard. I mostly do hand sewing at the tiny size.

 

Ah Juliepinetree thank you for all the sizing information! I didn't think Blythe would fit but thought it was worth asking. I have heard they are a similar upper body size to Jerryberry, but I'm not sure that helps me much! I just want a duffle coat really and I'm not so sure I could make one at any size, let alone that small!!
It's great to see how the Azone dresses size up, I hope to get one. I am very excited, they are in the country now so I just have to wait for customs to finish with them.

So I am exhausted! Remmy and Minimay arrived this morning and I have spent the last hour dressing them and fighting their wigs! Goodness those bluefairy wigs are hard work!! I will never every complain about my MSDs as long as I live. At least the pocketfairys are well behaved, they don't fight back so much and at painfully adorable, I was completely unprepared for how tiny and cute they would be! I kept checking with a ruler against my TFs but even though I knew how small they would be, I wasn't prepared for it!
I want to take them everywhere with me, but having such trouble with the wigs, I don't dare. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy a better boy's wig?
Wigs are kind of a deal breaker for me, I have so much trouble bonding with a doll who's wig isn't right so I need to sort out Remmy. His wig looks really cute with his hat on, but TERRIBLE without, and it really does not want to stay on his head.
Minimay's wig is almost as bad but I have seen many lovely girls wigs available thanks to you guys.

Congrats on your new dollies! Hur hur hur... I had a hard time making the wigs stay too, and the little pieces of velcro like things are not helping with the situation at all. So I got desperate and stuck a piece of blu-tack (it's those sticky tack that we use to keep posters on the wall, not sure what other country calls that) on their head before I put their wig on, and it worked!

I am so new to this size, so I can't help with where else to get wigs, I would like to know too.

juliepinetree and midolls*melissa, your little ones look very cute in Azone XS clothes, I need to let my kids try on the Azone clothes I have at home.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I had a really bad fight with my first Pocket Fairy over clothing, Minimay just refused to put her hands through the arm hole of the little dress I bought for her. I had to try this way and that to finally get her hands into the arm hole. >_< Your kids are so good comparing to mine.

...(everyone should trust me and get the silicone wig caps they really do make it much easier with the wigs and they stay put)

 

Thank you! I'm really glad I asked about the wigs before she sent them out, Remmy was going to have a dark brown wig and Minimay's default was ivory. I asked for Brown and dark brown because they look so cute in the company photos!! I personally like the lighter brown with the baked skin, but Minimay's wig is cute too, and very soft but I'm not so sure about the style.
Yes I'll definitely look them up, they sound great and your dolls always look so cute, your advice is greatly appreciated!

I saw the cat too~ It's really cute, but I like the outfit more, the itty-bitty cat might grow on me though.

Actually, my Minimay and Didi are both on Pepper body, but I prefer them as girls, so I put them in girls' clothes. When I bought them from Cathrine, only pepper bodies are available, I so kicked myself for not waiting. The Blanc Marine outfit is so adorable~ I love love love Baked Skin Pocket Fairies~~~!!!

Ah, I would never have guessed they were on pepper body and why not dress them in dresses, who would know the difference! Your Didi is so adorable, I like that you can see her eyes in that photo!
My Remmy is Pepper and my Minimay is Sugar, I have fallen totally head over heels for Remmy and even took him out with me today despite the fact I haven't bought or made him any sensible clothes!
Does anyone know if any TTYA clothes fit? I am desperate for tshirts and Pants/jeans etc but am really fussy about style and colour ><" oh dear, wrong time to be fussy!

 

Here's a picture of my PF babies back when I only had 3 of them.
They are all wearing TTYA hoodies and Didi is wearing skirted leggings (all Lati sized),
you can see how they are a little bit short in the sleeve and even shorter in the leg.
I haven't gotten any of the jeans to see how they would fit. I'm sure the denim shorts they make would fit
but the jeans will be like capri pants. And I haven't seen any T-shirt in Lati size on either of their sites.

I do however think the hoodies look super cute and want to get two more for my newer PF's.

I decided to buy my Remmy a pair of Pukifee size pants from TTYA, I guess I'll see how short they are when they arrive but I wanted some shorts for him anyway so I could always roll them up a little and he can wear them like that, or he can wear them with the tall boots he came with.
I was tempted to put him on the sugar body and make him into a girl yesterday. I want a girl baked Remmy too! He's just too sweet, I want lots of Remmys! ><"
