BlueFairy Mini (Tiny fairy) discussion Part 1

Jun 18, 2005

    1. Actually my BF Blossom body twins (Kitsune and Inari) are both wearing Unoas clothes right now. ^^;

The outfit is a little short, but I actually like the fit. I wanted outfits that were not super loose and a bit more mature looking.

As to where to buy things, I got these outfits at an event in Japan.

    2. I've never seen a blossom body in person, nor unoa, so I wasn't sure. You learn something new every day.... :) I'll have to file that away for future knowledge. Do you know if unoa clothes fit a normal body too? or are they too small?

    3. the clothing made for mattel's Teen Trends dolls will fit blossom body girls, though the shoes will not. You can actually get the teen trends dolls at toys R us these days for $15, and those come with a nice outfit. I got one for christmas for the outfit and will be donating the TT doll itself to a toy charity. Several of the outfit sets are available on ebay as well.

I've never had any trouble getting MSD shirts and things for Amandine, though MSD sized pants can be baggy.

    4. Is Bluefairy reliable? That's my first question.

Second question: does anyone have a picture of a girl with the blossom body? With and without clothes, if possible.

3rd question: How posable is the blossom body? Average? Superb?

      Thanks.

If this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it.

    5. I can't answer the first nor the last question, but I can show you the blossom body. A link from Bluefairy International: http://www.bluefairyint.com/shop/step1.php?number=185

I hope they're reliable, I want my first doll from them. ~_~ Which one are you interested in? :D

    6. The special Sarang doll. I love her facial expression. ^_^
And I saw that picture, I was just trying to see it from different angles or a different pose.

      But thanks for the input!

    7. I found Bluefairy to be reliable when dealing with them (and that was only in October). The only problem I had was them forgetting to attach the form to verify your identity in the email they sent me. They fixed that quickly though and with lots of apologies.

Processing and shipping was to the dates they gave and the doll was packaged securely :3

Personally I think they're a great company to do business with and I defiantly intend to buy from them again in the future :D

Afraid I can't help with your other questions though, since Connor's a boy XD

    8. one thing i can tell you is that they are quite reliable. i have a cutie(lol) Kyle from BF, and they came through without much problem. (i say withough much because there was an insident. i ordered a can of msc with kyle, and it turns out korean customs changed papers on airosol canned product)
the doll is beautifully sculpted, just keep in mind that BF dolls' skin color tend to be pinker than most other bjds.

though my kid isn't girl (or blossom bodied for that matter;), i want to say that his posibility is above average. he stands very well on his own, straight or 'model-esque' poses. the arms would hold better poses if i sueded him, since it's almost impossible to have him life his arms/elbows bent and have them stay there.

BF kids are def. one of the most under-rated sweetest things. i hope you get your cutie soon too!

    9. Thank you! Even though you guys have boys, the posability is probably the same. I'm glad the company is reliable and good to work with, and that they package the dolls well.

Always a good thing to know.

    10. Bluefairy's customer service was excellent. They shipped to me very fast with no problems whatsoever. :D
I love the natural posing of the Blossom body. It looks totally real and hold poses perfectly without sueding or wiring. Lavinia's merely coated, and she poses like a real girl. :D
I would take full-body nude pics, but my camera's broken and this is the best I have:

Feet and Legs?: (Might be useful XD)

Poseability: (Photo was taken the day she arrived....She held this pose uncoated and unsupported!)

    11. I have an Emilie and I absolutely love her. Everything with the company was fine and she took about a month to ship. I thought the identity confirmation form was kind of weird, but no one stole my identity. My Emilie arrived pretty floppy... even so, she could stand well but her arms were essentially useless. BF face ups are gorgeous, too. Sorry I don't have any info about the blossom body.

    12. I have to agree with the reliability. Sorry I'm not hooked up to the internet at home or I would upload pictures of a nude blossom body. Mine came pretty floppy but for the head which was super tight for some reason. >_< Go figure. But it's easily fixed and the body poses very well. ^_^

    13. I own BF Tommy, Twin Emilies on blossom bodies, Olive, and Kyle. I positively love Blue Fairy as a company and their dolls. I personally find all of their sculpts call to me, but I can't realistically get them all.

I've ordered several times from Blue Fairy itself as well as MinoruWorld. Both were extremely reliable, polite and a complete pleasure to deal with.

I'll try to get some pictures of them on their bodies.

I confess, I personally suck at posing, and my two blossom bodies are a little loosely strung because I got them as kits back before one could order them with special sets. But BF bodies seem to pose as well as any other bodies I've seen.

    14. Just adding on to the general opinion that they're reliable. I have a Niky and he's fabulous. The customer service was great and he came pretty quickly.

He posed great even before I restrung and sueded him. :D Now he poses even better.

    15. Here's Faith with her blossom body.

I had her sent back to BF because she came to me with male hands and legs that were of different lengths.....:doh I was pretty disappointed with BF after that incident (this was in Sept/Oct). But I still ordered one more (Xiao) from them recently coz they are too sweet!! :aheartbea

Not sure if you can see the pics under, coz photobucket for some reason is really really really slow...... (probably due to the earthquake in Taiwan, the connection's still not stable).

      Hope that helps!! ;)

    16. I know my girl isnt a bf, but a AR but they are fomr the same artist
and they'r bodys are the same.
The blossemed body is the same but just had boobs added to it.

My girl is amazing, she poses like a rock... i can just put her down without balancing her and she can stand.
      (but she is wired)
I do think the blossemed body should even be easyer to balance, because my girl tends to get out fo balance because het behind is just to big and trows her out of balance...who knows the boobs may help XDDDD

My girl can do some prety extreme poses, yesterday she somehow managed to stand on only her heals....
I filmed it...but she fell against the wall when i started and slipped down the wall and ended up sitting.
And i didnt get her to do it again T_T.

But as fas as i know The body's are the best msd bodys out there,
tip: glue the hooks in the hands by taking the hooks out, putting glue in the holes and put them back.
Also do this with the feet.
Somtimes the hooks get lose from twisting the feet and hands to much!

Sorry for the long story ;3 hope it helped
(is thinking of ordering a kyle)

    17. Thanks for the tip on gluing the hands and feet- that should be helpful.

All of you guys were helpful. Thanks so much!

    18. l33tprincess- are the markings on your doll from your camera, and accident, or did she come that way? 0_0

    19. The blossom body actually isn't the regular BF/AR girl body with boobs, I've found. o_o A friend with the regular girl body and I were comparing, and my blossom body girl has a completely different torso. The arms and legs are the same as far as I'm aware, but the shape of the hips is also different on the blossom body.

    20. I didn't buy it directly from BlueFairy, but my Unoa girl has a Blossom body. it's okay for posing. she didn't want to sit up at all, so I sueded her thigh joints.

I also didn't like her general lack of nipples (the boys have huge nipples... my sister-in-not-law's Jerome has nipples that could cut diamond) so I sanded them up a bit and sharpened them. yeah, I know, it sounds so weird, but they really do look better now.

but they really are beautiful bodies. I love their little bellybuttons! so perfect for piercing. :P their hands are kinda weird; they have huge palms... but cute nonetheless.

I doubt I could love my girl more even if she had an Unoa body rather than the BF Blossom body. <3
