BlueFairy Mini (Tiny fairy) discussion Part 1

You'll have to measure her foot. Blue Fairy does not list the full measurments and I don't even know which body you have.

In cm, measure the length of the feet (straight down middle of sole but measure as far out as necessary to be even with the end of her longest toe). Also measure the width of the foot across the widest part of the sole.

Also which body is it - immature or Blossom?

I do not own one but the above info will help others.

If you google Juju's shoes, I have found that Ellery Kish's shoes fit my Pocket Fairies. But the styles are limited.

I have made cowboy boots out of felt, just because there is so little out there.

Let us know if you find anything nice. The web site has some nice boots/shoes, but they are so expensive to ship.

this is mostly asking about the skin tone of these cute little guys so i'll try and make this quick!

My problem is that im really hooked on getting a bf girl but im not really sure how to come about the skin color. I heard their resin color now is more pink compaired to the older versions they have had. I like the older resin but the only way i can get either a olive or sarang is through ebay, doa services, or YJ. That might take a while.

My other option is getting a limited bf girl, but they are pretty expensive T_T !

What should I do? should i try and like the new resin by looking at alot of owner photos with other doll companies?

 

I'll tell you from personal experience: BF new resin is quite pink. the skintone is quite peachy. old resin dolls are getting rarer to come by in the Marketplace, and usually the most you'll see are the bodies. come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a BF doll on eBay. o__O;

Someone is actually selling an Olive on eBay right now (there's a thread in the Marketplace Mini category as well). I think she's a new resin, but you could always ask the seller?

The Olive would have to be second version resin as the mold only became available after Bluefairy switched resin. So, if you must have the old resin, you'll have to get Sarang.

 

Hm? I've heard about MSD sizes fitting them, but shoes being a wee bit tight, and the wigs question- I'm pretty sure MSD sizes work wonders. But don't take My word for it! ^^;;

I'm sure if you look around or ask for measurements froman owner, you'll find somehing...

 

The name Sarang DOES mean love in Korean- I think i should know my own nationality's language! ~~

As fore your question, there is one owner with a Sarang and a Xiao model too. The Sarang was named 'Faith'... If that helps!

 

There are two possible bodies for Bluefairy (or Minoruworld.net) Tiny Fairy girls. One is immature and the other (Blossom Body) is mature. Also there are skin tone differences between older and more recent Tiny Fairies, so a v1 head is not color compatible with v2 (what is currenly sold at stores is v2).

Some people say the immature girl body is the same mold as Angel Region girl body:

I cannot find Blossom body measurements anywhere (the mature body).

Does a DoC wig fit a TF from BlueFairy?

As far as I know, they're both 7-8 size wigs.

 

DOC heads run a little slim...many 6-7s fit them better than 7-8s. I am pretty sure a DOC wig is gonna be smack at size 7...I have one coming in myself, probably this week, if you want me to check it against my other wigs.

 

I'm pretty sure they don't D:
my mnf Shushu can't even properly wear my Petsha's wig..
and the shorter doc wigs with allot of struggle..and i have an AR wig (same size as Blue Fairy) and thats to big on her.
so i think doc is about 6.5 ..mnf is a full 7 and bf/ar is a 8...

 

My roommate's Petsha can't even wear her own wig properly, so I wouldn't use that as the only frame of reference *grin* I think the Petsha wig is pretty weird, all things considered. Not all wig caps are created equal *she says as she glares at the Volks Curl with its pitiful excuse for a cap*, that's for sure!

 

Yeah i understand,
but most of my friends own doc's and my mnf has worn all of they're wigs.

And it seems that the short haired wigs are a better fit somehow (maybe because the "boy" wigs are a bit bigger)

I just don't want this person to buy something bad ^_^ because i'm 99% sure it won't fit.

sounds like dod has it's sizes all over @_@

btw, i found tha most doc head are 16/17cm around.
So if you're doll has a the same size i guess they're wigs should be able to stay one ;3

 

I haven't tried it, but I know that while DOCs and TFs are both technically 7-8s, the DOCs are at the low end of the 7-8 size range, and TFs are at the high end. I haven't handled DOD wigs at all, but unless they're really stretchy I doubt they would fit.
