BlueFairy Mini (Tiny fairy) discussion Part 1

well, thanks Naiara... but I already bought the wig at the same time I ordered my Louis I'm a little stupid

Anyway, thanks for the advice everybody. And I can tell you now, the wig I bought fits. It takes some effort, but when on, it fits nicely ^^
so yes, I'm not only a little stupid, but also a lucky person

There is meant to be measurements of all dolls here, you should be able to find the blue fairy and the volks msd you have to look through each page. I am pretty sure they are more like SDC (volks SD Cute) size.

Look for normal Bluefairy, not Blossom Body (if it says Blossom Body, that is the mature body).

I have a Volks MSD Ken and a TF Niky.
While TF can wear some of the MSD clothes (they're kinda loose) its hard to get the TF sized things on the MSD. I have to remove my Ken's hands to get him into a TF sized dress.

 

If the item is loosely fitted to bluefairy, is that enough to compensate? That outfits I make aren't usually fitted; they're actually pretty baggy.

 

Hey, just a quickie question... I know the TF bodies are slimmer than MSDs, I have a regular-bodied (as in not blossom body) TF girl and I was eyeing a couple of SDC-only outfits from Volks. They aren't listed as fitting SDC and MSD, only SDC. I was wondreing if anyone had had any luck with clothing that is listed as fitting SDCs only on a Tiny Fairy doll, or the AR dolls, as I believe they have the same body (though I've heard various thing about whether the ARs have a different torso or not...).

The outfits I'm particularly wondering about are these two:

I had an AR girl and her body is wider than the SDC from what I remember. So if these clothes are made to fit tight, they probably won't fit her. I am not sure about the Tiny Fairy doll as I have never seen one in person.

Also, if you find the measurements do end up being ok for your doll, remember that these items will probably sell out in a matter of minutes when they are released. So be sure to be on your toes! Good luck!! ^_^

 

Yeah, I'm going to have to "camp out" at my computer and wait for the release! I think I'll be going for one of the MSD outfits instead... I was just hoping somebody may have gotten those sets already from the International site or Yahoo Japan... and happen to have a TF...? XD But if I don't know whether the dress will fit I won't bother trying to "catch" it on time and will focus on the other things I want! I should have just tried for them on the int. webshop but I am trying to be good and save money.... and just can't resist forever

 

Okay, I'v been on a CRUSADE for the exact size of a Tiny Fairy Boy from Bluefairy, but not even GOOGLE is helping me with it!

So I'm asking people who actually OWN one, that could they possibly be so awesome and nice, as to MEASURE the doll for me.
I have alot of odd needs about the measurements so bear with me please!

I know the height is about 43cm, but I'd like to know the height of the HEAD.
Also I'd LOVE the height of the torso separately and the leg parts (as in from the joint to the knee, from the knee to the ankle and the exact size of its feet) Also I would adore shoulder size, arm's lenght... ETC.

I know there are many sites that have atleast half of this stuff, or something TOWARDS it, but I need exact sizes for I sew ALOT and am collecting money for a loius.
I also have a bad tendency to not believe things from the internet, even thou the page says it's exactly the same as a tiny fairy boy... Like that one page that had Angel Region sizes and they assured it was the same, or atleast very very close.

I'm in DESPERATE need
Please, ANYONE out there! SAVE ME.

EDIT: I noticed something... ODD...
The link says in one part that "Waist 6 in" and in another "Waist 3 1/8 in"??
The same repeats in "Arm (Shoulder to wrist)" that has "3,5in" and "1 1/8 in" AND "aprox 3cm".
I have no idea how long an inch is. I just know KNOW i's 2,54cm but I can't imagine it in my mind. I'm finnish, we have metral.. I'm... in deep piss :'D

In my experience, Dollheart shoes and boots fit very well. I have Luts shoes too, they fit, but I prefer Dollheart by far. Lots of styles to choose from, beautifully made. You can check my threads, I think you can see shoes in some on my pictures? (Maybe.)

 

These are Ellery shoes. They fit perfect.

1. HAS anyone ordered a blue fairy through eluts.com?
2. If so, do they look different than blue fairies ordered through bluefairy's official site?

I am asking regarding the color of the resin, and also, the faceups.

I don't know the answer to your question. But it says Basic includes faceup and Luts says they will look just like the photos, so that implies that they are shipped from Bluefairy to Luts with complete with faceups.

When Luts sold Bambicrony(?), Luts did their own faceups and the photos were different.

I remember when Luts started selling Naripons, the faceups were REALLY different. Which is why I was wondering, you know?

If I heard the resin was NOT that pinky stuff BF is using now... I would be interested to know that. I am not a fan of that very pink resin.

I didn't know you could get them from minoruworld too. INTERESTING!! Carolyn knows everything. LOL.
