BlueFairy Mini (Tiny fairy) discussion Part 1

I just got myself BF Kyle, and he's a super cutie... They did really awesome job.
From what I read in Korean BJD forums, the current BF resin is a bit pinker than any other company's, so I'd say it won't match Volk's skin color.

As for the bubbles... I haven't seen any on my boy, and it's first time I heard of bubble issue with BF. Although he is my first BJD, I've done some research and BF gets top mark on most part. ^^

I have some Pocket Fairies and of course they use the same resin and I have never found any bubbles. I have noticed that the older dolls are pailer than the newer ones. The new resin is very pink. I think that that they might be closer in colour to Cereberus Project, aka Luts resin.

 

I have two tiny fairies and haven't had any problems with bubbles. The resin is a lot peachy-er than pureskin, so I wouldn't call them a good match. I own several PFs still, 1 full Tommy, 1 Tommy head, Olive, and I just ordered two Emilies. My good friend owns a new Niky and another good friend owns an Emilie and 2 more friends own a Jerome and a Kyle.

I've never seen any resin bubbles in any of my BF dolls. o_O The older resin dolls vary from a yellowish tone to a lovely creamy color which does match Volks pureskin perfectly. It's sort of hit or miss though and it's hard to know unless the person selling has the doll to compare. My old skin Choco is much more yellow than Volks, but my old skin Tommy head is a perfect match and is actually on a Volks MSD body.

The new resin is a lovely peachy color. I actually REALLY like it. The first few batches of dolls are much pinker than the current batches, but I still like the pinker tone. It is much pinker than CP still, or at least the MF Shiwoo I just received. I don't really know of any other resin that matches the current pink tone.

Oh my, thank you so much for the pictures and links! Now that I notice the color difference is not so much, I guess it should be ok. Cuz I was imagining them to be sunlight skin dark >_< and I like my kids to be fair, it's just me...

Just want to add I have a BF Tommy, he's just as cute as his photos, if not cuter in person. As for the resin, there are no bubbles in his resin either, in fact I find him to be one of the nicest quality of my dolls, his resin is the smoothest!

I can't help staring at them and smile XD I've put BF in my wanted list already but I'm undecided on Tommy or May cuz I've already got a MSD size boy...*scratch head

I also like the feel of the resin, I don't have anything to complain about it. No bubbles or such.

I kinda know what you mean D: I want a girl doll for my second msd, but... but... it's so tempting to get another guy doll ;w; (and my first doll isn't even here yet >w>)
I really want to get another guy doll, but i keep making dresses for my male Jade that it's starting not to be funny anymore XDD

i didn't own a msd, but bf skin color is nearly pinky peach when she new arrived home^^ but i found out she is getting yellow.....cry, does that caused by the strong UV in malaysia?

cloverfirefly: BF's molds are so cute, its so hard to choose one!! Just when I settled for May, then Tommy came up, it's like they are saying 'Bring me home~' hahaha

claynlew: i think that can be counter by spraying mr super clear? but my F28 boy last time didn't yellow, but he is yellow to begin with ^^;. I'm not sure about BF though...
