BlueFairy Shiny Fairy/(MW) Junior body discussion part 1

I've found that Cheerydoll and Nine9style YoSd size clothes fit well... generally if you look at the measurements for most YoSd sized clothes they tend to be ok though.

 

They fit in most Yo-SD size clothes that use standard Yo-SD measurement.
But SFs are a bit taller than other Yo-SD (but not taller than Lati Green), so some tights might be a bit too short for them.

She's only slightly taller than other Yo sized kids, I haven't had any problems with items fitting, luckily. She's pretty easy to find clothing for. TTYA is a good source for "boy" clothing.

 

Clochette - if you didn't already, this would be a great picture for the size comparison sticky. So she's bigger than a littlefee, for sure, but is she also fatter than a littlefee? Maybe she's petite ai sized then? I've found that Fred (petite ai) is bigger than Yo - bigger enough that if an outfit is very fitted to a Yo, it won't fit fred.

 

I didn't find her to be fatter...let's see if I can get a nekkid pic of a few of them when I get back from Denver. She's nowhere near PetiteAI size.

Another question...It seems that LUTS also carries Bluefairys. Even though the wig pictures are slightly different (or a lot different if you're comparing Benjamin's picture on the LUTS site and on the Bluefairy site), I've noticed that LUTS didn't say that you'd get Benjamin's boots if you ordered him from them. I find this odd as they give you EVERYTHING else, but no boots?

 

Gr8pes the pictures in Luts are the old pictures from the preorder period, that's why it's different from the current one in Bluefairy. the wig looks different because of how they arrange them with a hat on. it's the same shaggy cut wig I believe ^^ in Bluefairy, usually boots are not considered as "outfit" set. shoes are usually mentioned separately. I think the text is probably just missing. if it's a special set, you should get the full uniform with boots. hope that helps

 

Gr8pes, if I were you, I'd definitely order from Blue Fairy directly!! Shipping is super fast (you get your doll within 1-2 weeks of payment), and what is included is more detailed on the BF website. Why wait 35-45 business days from Luts, when you can wait 5-14 business days from Blue Fairy?

etoileprince: Oh~ So that's why, I didn't know just buy changing how the hat is put on that the hair would look so much shorter. To bad boots are considered part of the outfit.

Peppermintsheep: You bring up a good point there, I didn't know Blue Fairy shipped them so much faster. I guess its because you're not waiting for them to ship to LUTS before they ship to you?

 

Anyone see in the BF site they updated the new SFs and there is a little Louis Haha, i miss the old SF May laaaaaaa

 

Ooooh, he's cute, but I want to see girl Sam They also released Connie, renewal May and Hana... I liked the old ones better, but they are still cute and I might get a May someday. I bet they will release limiteds with the renewal Hana and May, and also Connie and Sam! That would be cute!

 

hanapui, I just took a look at them, seems like Connie has also been updated finally! Mini-Olive and Mini-Louis are both so very cute! ^^ I think I can live with the new May and Hana too... but I'm sure if I could, I'd snatch an old one but I could go with new May.

 

I just stumbled upon the new Shinies as well! The more I look at the revamped May, the more I think she's cute in her own way--I miss the old May, but this one is pretty cute too! I love Hana to bits, though Sam and Connie's mouths look a bit off to me--they're totally adorable otherwise though, I'd love to snatch a Connie for myself.

 

I'm still not so sure about new Shiny May over the old one (I'm still not sure what BF saw the need to do that) ...it doesn't help that the pics with that little bob wig make the new head sculpt look even rounder. There is still definitely a cuteness there though!
I'm wondering how long it will take before we see choice options available for the new shiny sculpts....and still hoping one day there'll be some sleeping shinys in the future.

 

Oh my... I definitely want to bring Sam home, but I'll have to wait for a while. He's so adorable, though!
