Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. bronzephoenix, your girl definitely doesn't look like May ver.1! Here's a picture of my SF May (ver 1). She's custom, but you can see that she has different features than your girl.

      The eyes are a different shape, and the mouth is fuller.

      As for how to argue your case, I would suggest taking a picture of your May again, making sure that the head position and angle matches BF May ver. 1 picture as much as possible. Stitch the pictures together, so they are side-by-side. This should allow them to see the difference clearly. Additionally, you may want to superimpose your picture onto their picture using Photoshop - this will let them see that the features do not align.

    2. Anna makes a good point, especially with photoshop. I would also suggest getting a rep on board to back tou up or telling them your friend had a may 1st and they are not the same (Although they may ask for photo proof then and You'd not be in the best position then!).

    5. Hey all! Just an update. BF has recognized that I have May 2 instead of May 1, and asked me to send her head in for replacement. However, they said it would take a long time, and I've grown fond of her, so I'm considering ordering another one, since I would love to have a brother/sister pair of different May versions :sweat Hopefully I can pull the funds together for this...

    6. Oh, that's great! I'm so relieved. I would have been beyond upset if I were in your place and they refused to offer to replace it. BF is one of the few doll companies that I recognize as a 'safe, reliable' company that I've heard almost no bad things about, so it would have been disappointing if their record were tarnished here, haha. Whichever way you decide, good luck! I wanted little SF twins before too, but since I want to keep my collection as small as possible, I'm waiting to get just the one May boy. -sigh- That WS event would have been perfect, if it weren't for the tan Louis/Jasmine rumors holding me back. Luckily May is popular, so I'm sure I'll get another chance one day, haha...

      By the way Anna, I looove that unique faceup on your May! It's so different, and colorful! I'd love to see her in an assortment of cute and colorful clothes to go with it!

      bronzephoenix, I'm happy that BF realized that you have May 2nd! I don't blame you for wanting May twins at all - sometime down the road, I'm considering getting May 3rd to be twins with my May 1st :D

      The piece of knotted string is a handle, the box has two holes in one side (they pop out) and the rope becomes a handle :) free carry case!

      I wanna share with you the photo of my twin May~ The right one is Miya (I posted her pic in this thread before), and the left one is Karin - the third SF May I've got (the second one was rehomed actually >_<) Both of them are May 1st, as I'm addicted to the original May Mold quite much~ XD (Same as Locksley, hehe)

    17. I once had a sleeping Leila and I recall that her wig size was 5-6", but the Bluefairy website says her head is a 6-7"... Which is correct..? :-\

    19. Their heads have about a 6" circumference, so they sit right on the line of both!! A bigger wig may need a wig cap, and a smaller wig may need some stretching. I have Leeke World wigs, and they're a good fit at 6-6.5". LUTS wigs for Honey Delf have also been a good fit.

      Since Junior heads are a little more flat on top than Shiny heads, wigs sometimes sit funny, or they cover the dolls' ears, so you might even want to put a pad of folded-up tissue paper under the wigs while they're wearing them. :)

    20. As far as I know, there is no US dealer for the MW line! I'm not sure about bluefairy, but when I ordered from minoruworld my doll shipped in like a week. I believe most people just buy straight from bluefairy. Hope your interview went well!

      I've been sitting on this girl (not literally) for about a year now and figure it's time to post! Marie is a MW Jr Leila.
