Whoever is doing their faces now appears to have a heavier hand on the lips, including the "chocolate line" between the lips. For that matter, the lashes are drawn fuller too, not as stylized as in the past. I'm wondering if I order a male in the future, if I'll have to specify boy-face w/beigy or pale or unpainted lips. That new body is kind of odd. It's almost like the Dikadoll 60cm boy body, but the wide shoulders on top of that cut-in of the torso -- and the baby-face sculpt. Don't get me wrong - I love the BF TF esthetic, but it all fit together before. (And the Tender body is the same height as the Gentle body, which was a PITA standing-stability-wise. All the extra height was in the legs.)
I was thinking of buying a Gentle Boy and I remembered that stability issue. Does anyone know if it's still a thing even with the neo-body?
@~A*K~ - I'd like to know that too. The pre-neo male body by DayDream was taller, about Gentle height, but it was more stable and not a problem. Oh - speaking of potential problems - I paid off the Colin in installments, finished in late May, actually had the doll in hand during June. They sent it in a "tube"sheet of inflated plastic strips/tubes, inside a 1/4 size carrier. Shipping box yes, company box, no. Plus I didn't find a card, which has been the BF type of COA in the past. So I Q&A'd and the reply was that they're not doing COAs. I don't know if that's a cost-cutting thing right now, or a permanent change. But would suggest if you don't see a COA/card and that is worrisome, you may have to ask about it and save a printout of the answer, just in case a potential buyer in the future is aghast that you don't have box or COA.
@hobbywhelmed yes, they only made COAs for a short period of time. Only my Sarang (bought in 2015) has it. The previous dolls and the newest dolls (last boy arrived in 2019) have no COA.
@~A*K~ & @hobbywhelmed I ordered a gentle body last yeah and he stands absolutely fine! I’ve not had trouble with him and it looks like the engineering of the body sorted out any instability. general q; has anyone ordered TF Heemang? I’m looking to buy her this upcoming sale period but I wondered if anyone had any owner pictures!
Girl Joshua, and a girl body for the Denis head i grabbed when they discontinued it. But seriously, this is a faster turnaround than i’ve seen from Blue Fairy in years!
Congrats getting your doll Peppermintsheep! The doll I ordered back in December is still not send since for some reason (well I know why) they can't send anything to my country.. I wonder if it's possible to cancel order.

They have added the information to the notice section and they added that the basic skin is going to change. None of my TF has the same resin color in real life, even if they have the same color in theory. It doesn't bother me, but I'm curious of the reasons to keep changing their resin color.
interesting. their basic skin always seemed to be a somewhat yellowish peach to me, least, my Louis is. I' curious what the new one will look like but yeah, consistant resin has never been BF's strong point lol.
I asked in the Q&A how often the baked skin was going to be available and they said that it will be offered once a year. So, I don't know if I should wait or if I go for the order now
It looks like the Baked option is only for the “Classic” Tiny Fairies, and not for the August preorder TFs.
