The Who Stole the Tarts line is still my favorite. I don't think they've ever done anything like that again.

 

I agree with you all. I do prefer the bluefairy style, the new face ups are non of my taste for the bluefairies, but I like it for other types of dolls^^

I really miss the limited themes so much, as you say @skyealloway Who stole the tarts was amazing and I have never seen anything like that again. My favorite of all times is the Kitten Louis, remember Olive in baked skin color and Rachel de juillet, so precious all of them. I would not hesitate to order if they were available again *____*

I hope I can place my order for Sarang next week >__<

 

I miss Bluefairy’s clothes so so much ;-; even their default outfit is great but it’s constantly out of stock now !! I wish they’d manufacture clothing again!!

No news on Heemang still- I ordered her on the August sale period and with a face up so I suppose that’s what’s taking time?

 

Heemang is really cute, she has such a gentle expression! I'm looking forward to seeing more of her arrive, so far I have only seen owner pics of one on flickr.

I see that BF has been taking a new direction lately with their sculpts and makeup, hmm. The newer looks are nice, but not really my cup of tea. I am hoping they will re-release Tommy and also Emilie, I love their sweet cheerful looking sculpts.

 

I miss Bluefairy clothes too!, They have such a beautiful and delicated style that I love.

@NeonLanterns I hope you get shipping news soon, I think the waiting time is much longer with a face up...

I ordered my TF Sarang at Monday so now I am waiting for Olive and Sarang!! I am so happy! I hope they can ship them not so late, but I know it will take long time since I ordered them with face ups...

I would love to order Mai at some point, but I think I love her more in baked skin color, do you think they could offer TF baked next time/next month? maybe not, since they offered baked skin color in august... (

 

Yaay, congratulations!! I hope they arrive soon. I'm still waiting for my baked skin sarang, no face-up, but I'm still paying her, hahaha. My best guess is that baked skin will be available on 2021, but let's keep an eye on it.

Yes, I think too we will not see baked skin in this year. I would love a Mai in baked skin but also love her in normal skin color^^.

Uhh this sounds like only the first 10 people to order will get their orders filled?

 

That's really smart, offering what people want, but at a limit to prevent production issues. And if they do it every month, eventually, everyone will get through, although I imagine it will be hard for the first few months.

I want a baked Lin some day!

Selling the heads alone probably isn't worth their time/they'd have to sell them at an inflated price to make it profitable.

My hope right now is that it's easy for all language speakers, and that we don't have to work with a translated Korean page, which can cause communication issues...

 

oo this order made system is really interesting. It's incredible to see so many older sculpts. It's also really interesting to see the difference between the old ones and the newer ones, their art style has changed a bit.
Especially the lips.

Bummer that it's such a small number though. 10 is nothing. I suppose you just gotta keep trying till you succeed.

I LOVE that we've got all those colours to pick from. And the return of valentine and sleep sculpts. Pricey though. like.. ouch.
I wonder if we'll get a chance for Sean and Rudy as well.

The baked doesn't seem to be working correctly, I think it's supposed to add a surcharge but it's not, it's instead just saying $50 as the price owed which isn't right. All the other colours display the correct price so yeah, wierd huh?

 

Oh gosh, that order made thing seems so nice, too bad for the limited amount for 10 per month.. I guess it is a small amount but maybe they want the delivery time to be shorter. Do I miss Jasmine from that list? There's Jasmine Valentine but no Jasmine. Anyone can tell me if it's there or not? No photo of Xiao either but she is in the list. I don't think I can order anything, I should make arrangements in my group anyway since there's clearly NO space for new ones.

@bronzephoenix I'm with you about Lin, how long I've been oogling about baked Lin... Then I'd have 4 Lins. This is dangerous road ahead thinking about it.

 

This freaked me out for a second! But Jasmine is still a regular Tiny Fairy in the monthly lineups; she’s available January, April, July, and October.

 

I think the special choice order is only for non-standard sculpts. The rest are available on the rotation, although they only do the baked once per year for them, I think? Not that the annual baked event is ever guaranteed...

 

I didn't even realise it was only the limited sculpts. Emilie has come one lately so that's why I got confused. *sigh* SO many pretties, but I still have no space.

I wonder how is the baked resin these days? I had Remember Olive and still have Remember May V and at least May V has quite a lot of discoloration, unevenly "yellowed" parts I guess. I don't keep my dolls in sunlight but they are in showcases in a dark room. I know if I'd keep them in boxes it might help but I love looking at them so I've always kept them like this.

It will be a 15 year anniversary with the hobby soon so I'm kinda wanting to have a doll to celebrate it.

 

I have... I think three? Baked skin dolls? One is an original Remember May V baked gal. The others came later from the annual baked skin event they had most years. The color is different every time, but it's always even.

So my Baked May V is lighter colored with a cool undertone, Olive is light with a warm undertone, and Robin is darker with a warm undertone. My understanding is that tan resin is dyed, so I guess they, uh, didn't dye consistently. I've never had discoloration issues, so I am surprised and sad to hear that

All that said, pretty much all of my TFs are a different color. This is partially because a lot of them are rescues, and people keep them under different conditions, and partially because BF has never been consistent color wise, even with NS and WS (as you know!).

I was a bit sad when I first discovered the change in colour on my May V. She wears clothes mostly and now is having a new face up so at least her face will be looking fabulous. Wow your baked Robin is really cute, I love all the baked ones but gosh I'm having a hard time to think if I should go for it or not. Fourth Lin... so tempting even tough I do have other Tinyfairies in mind too.

My first doll is Tinyfairy Jerome, he is from the piggy pink normal skin batch and I think he has mellowed just a little. Pinkness has faded mostly. He will be 15, I count my doll hobby beginning from his arrival if I want to settle in for a date but I guess I got interested in dolls at 2004, but bought my first next year. He might need a new face up since he's got the default since he arrived and it's really needing to be renewed soonishly. I keep pushing that further and further...

 

I hope they offer baked skin next year^^.

Yes, it is the small number of order what is not so good, and you can keep trying until you succeed, but I think the main problem here is that you can only order once? or do I understand this not right?

Due to the limited quantity, cancellation is not possible after ordering and you cannot participate in future order making.

 

well that's a bummer but I mean, it makes sense in a "give others a chance" sort of way.

I hope they do something with Rudy and Sean because I quite like their blank sculpts. Particularly Rudy. He doesn't really look very "blue fairy" (it's the fuller lips I think) but I like him.
