She has a wonderful expression! I love the way her lips are designed slightly parted like that. I have a TF May on order, and that was one of the design points that really pulled me to her (on top of the fact that I just love her overall design). Anyway, seeing your Violet reminds me how much I want to get May. I ordered her from Dolk in November, so I imagine I have a while to wait yet.

I'm safe. Lately, BlueFairy is focusing on smaller or semi closed eyes and I'm not the biggest fan of that. I guess I'll just save money this year so next year I can order a TF Boy with big eyes Congratulations! I love that you named her Kaisu.
Hey everyone, Blue Fairy is having a clearance sale on their wigs right now! They’re $7 each, except a few of the shortest wigs which are $6 each. You can only pay EMS shipping, as K Packets aren’t available, but for the deal you’re getting on wigs... EMS doesn’t even seem too expensive lol
I don't understand. They're saying that they won't be selling as scheduled, but, they're going to sell whatever they want whenever they want (?) I'll check if I can make an effort and buy a couple of dolls. EDIT: I read it again and now I get it!!! They will be selling monthly, but it won't be fixed... So, I can't plan to buy a specific TF because I don't know when it will be available... right?
The only thing that seems really clear is that they are switching to an irregular schedule, so you'll never know when things will be available. "The way the sales are opened on the first Monday of every month is the same, but the type of products sold will be changed to the way we inform and sell in advance." "Monthly Pre-Order, which was able to place a fixed type of order every month last March, will be discontinued. Normal heads sold as Monthly Pre-Order will then be converted to irregular orders." So, you can no longer plan in advance for an ordering period to arrive. In some ways, this is inconvenient... But seeing as how so many of their dolls have been frequently available for so long, it might be a good move? Like, I doubt many people are buying a TF May or Olive these days, since they have been easy to purchase since the beginning. I've been wondering how BF can get by when so much of their lineup has been around for so long. I wish they'd provide more warning- at least a full cycle (three months). I don't have long to decide if I'm going to buy a 1/3 Olive or not. I doubt they're "getting rid" of any sculpts, but it seems like we will have no way of knowing when the opportunity to buy them will come again.
Hi, I was just looking through BF's Order Made because of the coming suspended sales message, and does anyone have a TF Auther/seen one other than Bluefairy's own promo photos? The sculpt really caught my eye but I'd want to see it with other faceups/angles before placing an order...
@bronzephoenix I feel you... my possible purchases are for a BlueFairy and a ShinyFairy. I'm more worried about the BlueFairy (I want a Miley) because I think she's not that popular
@~A*K~ I have a Miley! She is lovely as can be, there are lots of pics on my Insta. I will say that the BF girls take EXTREME high-dome eyes and have "slanted" eyewells. I wanted to swap out the defaults she came with, so I literally had to remove resin from the inside of her eyewells to fit other eyes in. In my opinion, the 1/3 dolls are sort of "clumsy"; it's like they didn't scale things up properly, so the eyes are at weird angles that don't allow most eyes in. Also, in pics of my Miley, you can see how "thick" her eyewells are- like a lot of resin between the viewier and the eye, lol! BUT! I also absolutely adore my 1/3 Miley and May V. Does it also sound to other folks like the ordermade system may vanish? I'm not sure how to interpret that part.
@bronzephoenix thanks for the tip! Yes, it sounds like the order made system will disappear. I think that they will offer only limited editions of their dolls, but we will have to wait to know for sure what's going to happen. I just hope they don't close...
Here's a blog post of mine with photo references to illustrate the BF 1/3 eye situation. I don't think there's any reason to think that BF is going out of business because they are trying a new business model. I do know that, because of multiple factors, it's harder all the time for doll companies to survive. So... I guess it's a good time to buy something direct from BF if you've wanted it and can swing it, both in the sense of "it might be your last chance for a while" and "supporting BF."
