BlueFairy (Tiny Fairy) discussion Part 12

In their news post they write:
Ordermade sales, which were scheduled for June, will be changed to April, and regular sales of ordermade will also be suspended after April sales.

What exactly are ordermade sales? Where is the difference compared to pre-order sales?
I have never ordered from them before but I like Olive and Heemang a lot.

 

@laquaza ”Order Made” sales are when they bring out the special/limited heads (like Rachel, May Valentine, Sleeping Sarang, etc) and you can order them one time of year (look through the “Limited Doll” tab on the lefthand side of Blue Fairy’s website.) The “Order Made” sales are a way to buy that limited doll (without the special outfit) if you missed the original sale.

Olive is one of their original molds (circa 2004 or so), and you can find her pretty easily on resale websites like Mandarake and Dollyteria. Heemang is new (just last year!), and I've only seen 1 owner photo on instagram. So if you’re tight on funds, I'd recommend buying Heemang now, and picking up Olive when you see one on Mandarake or something. Of course, if you just won the lottery, then go for both

 

Sorry for the double post, but Blue Fairy announced a shoe pre order! Looks like they’re really clearing out all their stock. I hope they’re okay.

Looks like the sale is only Wednesday to Friday? A little strange. But if you’re on the fence about ordering shoes... I absolutely recommend Blue Fairy’s shoes! The quality is fantastic, and they come in a range of neutral styles and colors that will complement any outfit!

I couldnt bring myself to buy a bunch of random wigs, but that may be a different story with shoes!

 

Just to clarify, BF didn't mention ending sales of the shoes or a discount of any kind, like they did for the wigs. They're calling it a shoe pre-order period, vs a wig "clearance sale." No reason to assume stock is being cleared.

 

Thanks for the answer. I missed the previous shoe pre-order and I really want some more. My dolls clearly are in need of those flat shoes. I bought few pairs from LDoll years ago and I kick myself not buying more. One of the best shoes there. And some heels...

 

I agree, I'm addicted to BF shoes! I also adore the Chloe's Daydream ones- in fact, the Daydream shoes are the best in scale (BF shoes tend to be a bit big/chonky, which is great for helping them stand, but the Daydream shoes fit like danged gloves). My fave BF shoes are the engineers!

 

I have decided not to get Heemang because in April Bluefairy will offer the last guaranteed chance at their baked skin. And I really need/want more tan skinned dolls. But because Volks has announced a pre-order for Charlotte in April as well I don't know which one to go for .

Also is it just me or is Bluefairy's webpage down? I can't access it anymore.

 

I can still access it, but the products part of the homepage has been reduced to the recen one off dolls and two clothing items... at least I think that change was pretty recent?

 

Hmm, so the shoe preorder goes live tomorrow... and there's still a message that says "NO ITEMS FOUND. PLEASE, CHECK LATER." for the Blue Fairy (60cm) sized shoes. (I know this is the Tiny Fairy thread, but the other ones are sooooo quiet!)

I really hope they do put their big Blue Fairy-sized shoes up for the sale! ;A; i never bought any, and I truly don't understand how SD+ sized dolls work lol

 

Anyone can answer if Bluefairy takes Paypal? I'm hoping to check out and pay with that becouse I don't use my CC to anything if I don't have to...

And I already got the answer, I paid with cc even tough it showed afterwards that their site is not secured (???). I sent them a message about that as well as informed my bank and asked their advice as I'm afraid about the unsecure payment.

 

I know you already have the answer, but yes, BlueFairy accepts paypal. That's how I've made my layaway payments, but I have to notify then and share the transaction ID so they can confirm the payment.

 

Can confirm, the 1/3 shoes are just as awesome as the 1/4 ones.

 

Yes, they added the bigger shoes!

And yes, Blue Fairy does take paypal, but the option you have to choose is "bank deposit", and then pick their paypal email from the drop-down menu.

Weird glitch: I put the shoes in my cart, I ordered, the payment has already been confirmed (whoa!)... and all the items are back in my cart again, even though they've been paid for+confirmed.

 

I finally ordered Olive! Which has been on my wishlist for forever. But I didn't want her on the neo body, so I tried looking for her on the second hand market with no succes. But I coincidentally found a classic Dandy body, and bought it, without any real plans for it. To find out right after about Bluefairy stopping wit the order made sales. So I decided I need to order the head now, before it's too late, and he/she will go on the Dandy body So I will finally have my Olive!

I also pre-ordered some shoes, and had the same thing happen @Peppermintsheep My whole Olive order was still in my Cart, while that was also payed for and confirmed. Weird!

 

Back in October, when they had the Order Made event, I ordered Tiny Fairy Emma.... and I’m still waiting I can’t tell any more if this is a normal waiting time or not... I don’t want to rush them and say “Where’s the doll?!” but I’m feeling it!!! XD

 

I ordered a TF May in early November via Dolkus, and I am still waiting as well. But I did receive a notice from Dolk with photos of the faceup and wig in early February, stating that May was ready to ship, and then again at the end of February with an adjustment on shipping costs. It's been about three weeks since the last post. I have just been assuming that it is all covid-related delays, but I have to say I don't have a lot of experience with BJD delivery times since I'm still a bit of a newbie.

 

Hahahaha, you should ask them the status, but in a polite way.
