BlueFairy (Tiny Fairy) discussion Part 12

My Jude in baked skin from the April order just shipped! I got the email last night. My other bjd is a yosd so I'm really excited to see the msd size. And I got her blank so I have to start thinking about plans for her faceup..

 

omg i'm jealous of all y'all!!! i got a bluefairy size too so i think i'll probably be in the last of the orders to ship ;___;

 

I have no email but they did assure me on Q&A so i'm assuming either it got lost by my email provider or is stuck in the digital ether somewhere.

Hopefully it won't be a problem and it'll appear in my inbox soon. I checked my spam/junk folders but nope.

 

i feel like for my last five orders or however many it's been they didn't sent me an email for some reason lol
i wonder if they just don't send them unless you inquire or something LOL

@purple_monkfish I just got my shipping notice too! But now i’m falling into the If You Give A Mouse A Cookie trouble... new dolls need new eyes, and if I’m buying eyes, they may as well get a new wig.... and ooh shoes are on sale.... so I may as well just buy an outfit, too....

Edit to add: my Gmail account constantly puts Blue Fairy emails directly into my spam folder, even though I’ve saved their email as a contact. I also get warnings on top of every BF email (warnings from gmail) that the message could be a possible phishing scam. Big eye roll. Anyway, check your spam folders, because your Blue Fairy emails might be there.

 

I checked all of mine as I can't remember which account is tied to my bf account lol. But sadly, nope. I might ping them on Q&A and ask for my tracking number. There should be a tracking number right?

I ordered my boy with a "random" wig so hopefully they'll remember that. I have a huge stash of eyes here in the interim but I was going to wait till I saw him to decide what colour I would like. I agonise over eyes lol.

 

bluefairy got back to me and my tan allan is in faceup so hopefully it'll be soon for me! they said my diana was done, which i'm really excited about hehe! kind of surprised the BFs take less time than TFs with faceup, but good to note!

 

I asked for a tracking number as I never got a dispatch email and they gave me it this morning. Checked it and my parcel is in the country, has cleared customs and is ready for delivery!

As it's afternoon now i'm gonna assume it won't go out for delivery till tomorrow but exciting!

A little washed out by my flash.

I'm not sure what I want to do with his eyes because I haven't decided where he fits among my dolls.
But he got some clothes for now and the wig is the one he came with. It's a sort of chestnut brown colour.

The taller body amuses me. He has really long legs but it makes his arms look really short. Poor guy. I plan on getting my other BF out tomorrow and taking some comparisons between the Dandy and Gentle bodies.

 

Were you able to take the comparison pictures? I'd love to see them.

I'll try to get it done today.

I still haven't done his faceup even, i'm terrible! lol.

 

My Tiny Fairy May arrived yesterday . I'll post her box opening later as I need to crop down my phone pics first. And I love her . (No I only need to practice faceups faster than buying new dolls .)

But what surprised me most was her body. I haven't read the best things about Blue Fairy bodies so I set my expectations pretty low. She's actually one of my best posers . Handling her feels pretty rough and mechanical but she does hit them poses . Which is a huge plus for me.

I finally painted Rudy up. I think his name is "Hector". He's very beautiful.

He still needs lashes glued in, a layer of gloss on his lips and smaller irised eyes but for now I think he's quite gorgeous.

I also painted my Robin head.



and put him onto my Luts body. I'm not sure though. He's very cute but he has a big ol' egg shaped head that makes all wigs look a bit too bulbous. this wig is genuinely the only one that doesn't make him look like Megamind!

 

@purple_monkfish your Robin looks so cute I wasn't aware of the megamind effect, huh...

 

yeah poor boy. Louis doesn't have such a bulbous head so who knows.
Robin just has a lot of head lol.

I do like his little tooth, it's extremely cute.
