@IngieBee Nope, I ordered Darius direct from RS when the Pixiu sculpt was first released. He's their red. The blushing on him is the default blushing, too. His tail is blushed as well. Both Darius and Aischylos also have the default RS face-ups.

Oh, happy to see an owner pic of that dark tan! I’ve ordered Rui in it and I’m glad it’s actually brown & not red like so many other companies. (I considered an impldoll but their tan is orangey).

 

@Spuggey Yes, it's a very nice brown. Sort of like milk chocolate. I'd cautiously say it's quite stable as well. I haven't noticed any colour change and if there is, it's completely even. I can't compare him to other dark tan from RS as he's the only one I own in that colour from them. I do have girl hands for him in the same resin (ordered at the same time) but since both the hands and him spend all their time in the box, it wouldn't mean anything to compare them.

 

if you want to see RS coffee/lt tan, I've got a MSD centaur hybrid (conveniently enough with blue eyes, and her centaur parts are Impl's orangy-tan, which I think you might also own?) LINK

Resinsoul does offer a resin matching service if you can ship them your headcap or a hand to match to!

 

If you're reluctant to send out a part, go to a paint store with your doll's head cap and match the resin to one of the paint swatches and send that to them. With the mail/shipping the way it currently is, that feels like the safest way to do things to me. That's what I'll be doing when I get Qayin his body, especially since he is a very limited head and replacing his head cap would be impossible if it got lost in the mail.

 

Thank you @Girrl and @Iron_Dog The Centar really helps because yes, i own that color, and I can compare how the picture is (and change it in Gimp to match my boy IRL so as to see better what the hue is! I don't think my screen is accurate!!! Iron Dog's dragon looks tan and the big boy and your RS boy look grey to me, ROFL.

My head is white, so I could match whatever I decided on with him. In the end, I think I'm going with light tan.

BTW, one of the main reasons, aside from wanting other body types, I want a RS boy body is because I heard he was easy to dress. Does anyone know if Alice's SD17 clothes fit well? It would be so awesome to order clothes off the rack! And frankly, boys have SO MANY COOL OUTFITS! I don't understand why girls have such limitation on style and quality Boys get all the good stuff! LOL

 

I'll venture an educated guess. With RS you sometimes have to make judgement calls. With only 13cm shoulder width, if you want the shoulders to fit, you need to do regular SD, IMO. The length might be fine there as well as he seems to have a slightly shorter body with long legs, but just in case, if there is an SD shirt that sits rather long, it'd probably be a safer bet.

For his pants, again, I'd say SD, look at those skinny legs and butt! But, they will undoubtedly all be too short. You can stick with shorts for now but I think you will need to special order pants. Jeans, well you never know unless they are advertised on a certain body, so jeans will probably need to be special ordered as well . If you see something you like on acbjd, and it's not one of their customizable outfits you still might be able to get them lengthened! It never hurts to ask!

I've a really weird idea it has been stuck in my head for several months now.....I want to put a rs chun head on a rs gang body cuz I think chun could be a very cute boy

 

Nah, that's not nuts. Aischylos is a Yao head on the Ming body. He has a set of the long nail girl hands, too.

 

So if I wanted to buy my RS Ke (68cm) a pair of High Heel feet would their SD feet work? Or are those feet only for their 58-60cm girls? Would they be too small for the 68cm girl?

 

Anyone know if the 72cm jointed hands fit the 70cm boys?

 

If they're the same size as the non jointed hands, they'll be too big and just "float" outside the wrist socket. I had to modify the forearms and wrists of my 70cm body to take 72cm hands T_T
