BTW, I was browsing through the pictures in this thread, many being 2-3 years old, but dang! Give these sculpts a nice faceup and they look absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I'm now in love with nearly all the heads! Wow, Dan and Dai, I just never realized how gorgeous the sculpts can be and Rui actually looks pretty on the RS site, but not as pretty as a few pages back! I really need to stop falling in love with dolls

 

RS is notorious for having horrible pictures of their dolls on the site. The default face-ups are actually quite nice and light/natural. All of my RS boys (I have 5) actually have the default face-ups and I'm quite pleased with them. The full blushing on Darius (Pixiu) is beautifully done, too.

 

I actually knew that, but I'm still shocked at some of the beauties posted here!

 

It is utterly amazing the difference a face-up can do for a doll.

 

I do have to agree—Resinsoul really has been upping their game over the past few years.

I have a question I'm hoping to get an answer to regarding the 72cm jointed hands. I've thought about ordering a pair, but I'm afraid of them being too big for my 68-70cm sized boys (whoever in the bunch would acquire a pair). I know from experience that the slender 70cm boy jointed hands work better for 60-65cm females when hybridding, but are otherwise too small for the boys (outside the RS boys anyways).

Would anyone be willing (who owns a pair) to take some photos of the 72cm jointed hands on a 68-70cm scale body? Extra points if it's on a Loongsoul 68cm or Doll Leaves 70cm.

 

I'm getting a pair with my Hang body, but they won't be here for a while yet unfortunately. And then, all I have are Impldoll boys, so I'm afraid I won't be much help. @jade-eyed-cat

and I want either rs Feng or Yang because perfect loki vibes

 

I can see the Loki vibes - my Ash (Feng) might need darker eyes, but he would make a good Loki.

Hey everyone! I was wondering if any of you knew what BBB's turnaround time is right now. I'm tempted to order an Apollo head to hybrid, but I'm going to be moving sometime this summer and I don't want things to get weird with the postal system.

 

I'm not sure about the wait time, but I have had to move while waiting on a doll, and I just asked them to email me when they had the doll ready so I could give them the address that was correct. Not sure if BBB would do that, but Alice's Collection's did. I am currently undergoing an unexpected move and had to mail Clover Singing about changing my address and she was cool with it too. Hopefully BBB will be willing to work with you!

Sorry, I'm no help for any of the questions Hope someone will post, and here is a bump I'd also like to know the turn around time. Sun told me 2 months for a couple of bodies I ordered in special color. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get done in time but as long as it isn't more than 4 months. At that point I'll climb the walls, LOL.

 

Does anybody has a Ke or a Qing?
I'm planning on buying both, but they are not very popular

 

There are too many beautiful doll manufacturers to follow, LOL, So I don't remember heads so well, but looking her up, she's a beauty, and the pictures and faceup are amazing for RS! She's probably lovelier in person, but I know how you feel, I like to see owner pictures when I am ordering a doll too

As for Qing, I do see a lot of owner pictures in a google search. She's a cutie I ordered a couple of MSD Shi bodies and asked for jointed hands as well as mobility joint in the thigh. I haven't gotten them yet, but I can say from research, you might want to request it, it's pretty cool I have the Rong body and the Mei body, they're nice too, a little kicky but a wee bit of hot glue sueding does the trick

@FoopPrincess27 Oh gosh, I think I may have made a mistake on my msd order which is OT except to say, I don't think Sun will give me a mobility joint because I don't think they have one for one of their MSD bodies (I thought I saw one and asked for it and Sun said yes, I thought, but I have no idea what I'll get, LOL) But otherwise, just to explain what most mobility joints are supposed to do, with varying degrees of success, this is IMO one of the more successful iterations It's the joint in the thigh. It can allow a doll to bring their knees up to the chest or it can twist the leg so that they can sit cross legged.
