Oh, it's a mini SD, from Withdoll (JWD). I ordered 2 of these and 2 ResinSoul Shi bodies almost 2 months ago, and I can't wait to see both but they're OT for the big thread I also should get my Hang body soon. I'll be using it for a Doll Family H head I am hoping it'll work out, hang's body looks super awesome Anyone know if he fits normal SD17 clothes or what size he wears? Thanks

I ordered my BBB Apollo head through DDE today! I already checked with them, just to be safe, and they said they'd have no issue changing the shipping address for me if he shows up after I move. I'm pretty excited! I still haven't decided what body I'm going to hybrid him onto (I've been eyeing the Loongsoul 62 cm body, but French resin scares me), but I feel like he's going to be a lot of fun to have around the house.

 

Pretty sure BBB and LoongSoul use substantially similar resin. I have WS from both companies, and while the specific dolls in question are not the best for resin comparison purposes (the LS girl has full body blushing - tiger stripes everywhere) the colors were very similar when I got them. Both companies' resin tends to photograph the same way, which also suggests it's a similar material. LS bodies are absolutely amazing posers, I'd love love love to see pictures if you end up putting your Apollo on one (and pictures of your Apollo in general, feels like I don't see that many out in the wilds and all)

 

I only have one loongsoul body yet, but it's amazing and it's one of their oldest bodies I think! Looking forward to seeing your Apollo, @Thespian

 

Joining the forum. I just order my first resinsoul boy body. Is a 72cm boy body in custom resin. I had two resinsoul 60cm girl bodies about 2 years ago that I got from DDE. Is my first time ordering directly from resinsoul. I’m amaze how fast resinsoul reply to the messages I contacted them yesterday and I was able to place my order today. They are also very friendly and answer all my questions.

the body will be for an artist head I commission to look like South Korean actor Woo Do Hwan. I commission the head to have the resinsoul 72cm body measurements so I hope it a good fit. Poor thing has been without a body since March when I got him.

Does resinsoul really finish the bodies in 2 months?

 

As long as you ordered directly, I think it will be pretty quick @MrFjmg2003 unfortunately, I bought my boy body from DDE who i understands orders through Bobbie and it's still not sent after 6+ months But I bought 2 other bodies directly with special color and it was at my door after 2 month 1 week

 

Mine took a little longer, but it was because I was slow responding to them and asked for a last minute addition. Two months is pretty typical!

 

does anyone happen to own xue doll? i'm desperately trying to find a wigless front on and side profile photos and having zero luck
resinsoul dolls are so good but my god there photos leave something to be desired lol

Hope you all don't mind me popping in, but I just received my first Resinsoul as well as my first 1/3 size doll.
I know she needs some sueding and restringing tlc but I'm not physically up to that right now, but I love her anyway and am very happy I took the plunge and ordered her when my finances allowed.
I know Bobobie and Resinsoul tend to have slimmer dolls than a lot of other companies so is there anything specific I really need to look out for when buying premade clothing? I'm not sure I can handle sewing her a full wardrobe, plus it's hard to get good patterns without a working printer.

She's gorgeous! I don't know what to say about clothing for the big girls as I don't have one. I assume going for stretchy helps? relocating buttons? doing some tacking stitches to take up the slack? Shoulders are much more narrow than other dolls, so maybe avoiding sleeves? She looks great in what you have her in now You could look into getting MSD dresses that can work as shirts (watch out for sleeve length) Dollmore has not-so-expensive clothes that might work for her? Length will be off of course. It might be worth a try??

 

Thanks, I will definitely check out dollmore when I get a bit more spending money, right now most of it will need to go into my etsy cart for the few things I've picked out for her and a guy who's body I'm still waiting on.

 

Alice’s also does come custom sizes, which I got for my resinsoul60 girl before she was modded.

 

Is there an extra charge for that?

 

I forgot about Alice's! There used to not be an extra charge, I'm not sure about now though? I did notice they started charging a little more for larger clothes.

OH! I just thought of something. Maybe you should compare the measurements to Doll Chateau which you can find on Alice's website. I've seen a lot of pretty clothes made for them on Etsy, and if they're similar, Oh my gosh, that'd be spectacular @TwistedRiver Doll Chateau isn't for me, but if RS big girls fit, OMGosh, I'd have to rethink getting one
