My RS Heng body arrived He's great! Loose, which I expected. I'll restring him with thicker chording. Wow, they used some thin stuff!! Looks like 3mm where he needs 5! I just got him so I haven't tried the head I planned to put on him yet, LOL

Congrats @IngieBee glad it finally got to you! Definitely share pics if the head works out. Can't believe that they used such thin string. Pretty sure my girl came with thicker than 3mm.

@Chameleon it's my DF-H SuSu head. Fits, but I need to match the resin color. I wiped him last night and planned on painting today.

It wasn't until after I opened him up that I remembered I have nothing for him to wear, LOL

 

I have an OT for this thread body I'm waiting on for my doll family Xiao Xin head and have nothing for him to wear so I feel your pain.
I sewed Marjorie's dress while waiting for her to arrive and luckily other than being a little shorter than I'd planned it fit. I need to get her more clothes now that she's here but I'm not sure if I will make more or go the store bought route.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone here knew whether or not a Gang head would work on one of the 70cm bodies? I can see the neck sizes are a bit different, but I'm wondering about the overall look, since Gang's original body seems to be so skinny. Thank you!

 

@nonniemous It won't work without some major neck mods. Just switching the head was my plan for my Mu, but I ended up just switching the character to Heng. I will update with pictures when I get off work!

 

Oh, sorry it didn't work out @Thymeseer . I am almost finished with matching my intended's head on my Heng body but have no clothes yet, LOL. Still I need to finish his eyelashes, attach his head and take some pictures

Thank you! She's part of my circle of mages/magic users, and she's a half-demon. She's a healer, but she is also really good with poisons.

I did order a lavender/lilac wig for her on Etsy, but I have to see how it suits her when it arrives. I think it should work well with her grey skin.
She needs a cloak and a good pair of sturdy boots - but at least she's no longer naked. :-)

 

@nonniemous I AM SO SORRY. I forgot completely to take some pics!!! Here's Mu on the Yi body and it actually doesn't look as bad as I remember. I'm still moving my character to the Heng head, but with some sanding on the neck and a proper wig it could totally work.




@Fairy Milliner I love your Charisma! She's one I've been wanting to get for years but I just haven't take the plunge.

 

Does somebody know is resinsoul light gray resin matches or is close match to DollsTown and DollShe new modern gray resin?

Also does somebody have pictures of resinsoul dolls or bodies in light grey resin? I’m finding it to hard to find owner pictures

I don't have any light grey dolls, but I do know that ResinSoul will match pantone colors. I got a Behr paint chip that matched, found the hex number for it on the Behr site and took the hex number to the Pantone website and got a bunch of choices. I chose the one I thought was closest.

 

Oh wow, @Thymeseer , I do think that could totally work if you could widen the neck hole on the head (need enough resin??)

 

Thank you. I know I’m currently waiting on a resinsoul Yi body that I order in custom resin. I’m very impressed with resinsoul customer service I will add. I was just hoping to save a few bucks if the grey resinsoul already have match. I’m cheap that way LOL
