Bobobie and Resinsoul Discussion - Part 12!!

Resinsoul is having a discount on some of their dolls! They're not saying until when, but I assume it should run until at least 11/11 since the "global shopping festival" is the reason for the discount.

Uh oh, I'd been hoping Resinsoul would make a few more big dudes with refined cheekbones but not now while I'm on a doll hiatus! I love their new sculpting style, it's so elegant.

 

Just got my Resinsoul Andrew, NS with freckles faceup, from DDE today. He's a handsome boy! I had a very different wig in mind for him but it just didn't work, though I do think he looks good in this grey-purple Leeke! He's right at the 8" mark, I'd say, if not a little smaller.

And a closeup of his face, bald and nakey right out of the box. Please pardon the eye putty squished into his sclera/tear duct area, it was so cold it wouldn't budge when I went to fix it. (never had THAT problem before in Miami )

Hello, all! I come bearing questions~ Does anyone have or have seen any hybrids yet of these new 72cm boy bodies? I've seen a few owner photos of the full dolls themselves, but I'm a hybrider by nature, lol, and have a mighty need! My concern is that their necks seem to be really short. But I also can't fully deduce if that's fully the neck or the heads themselves. Or both, lol! I'm suspecting I may have to ask RS for a custom longer neck, but I'd love to be sure before going through all that. These are for future plans, so I've got plenty of time to continue researching and planning. But any help would be absolutely lovely!~ Thanks!!!

Now, the Cen body on the other hand, I loooove that body! I recently just added a second because I plan on several, lol! It's soooo goood, especially for smaller 1/3 head hybrids. I currently have a Zaoll Luv on my original Cen body, and the new one will have several rotating, mainly: Nakanadoll Yvonne, FL Rona, and CP Luts Juri-07 A (Dreaming Elf Moon). Male FL Lookback sculpts also look great, but the female sculpts tend to be on the too small side, but most others work. I also need to nab a body for my mother to put her Bimong Dandelion/Mindulrae head on. Seriously, this body is fabulous!!!!! (Also, more the reason I'm hoping it's larger version is just as compatible!)

Honestly, if anyone has any questions on what they wonder might fit the Cen body, hit me up. I've got a vast selection of heads and don't mind either sharing a headswap photo or answering a question or two~

 

Hello! Would anyone be able to verify if the neck on the 58cm girl body is 8cm or 9cm? I've found conflicting information online.

 

I have the shorter Resinsoul body, what head are you thinking of using? (I am using a small head so I believe it's an 8cm neck)

 

I'm looking to hybrid a Peaks Woods Tristan head, which have neck holes on the smaller side.

 

I have an LR Kamu head on the smaller body and though the head says 9.5 cm it fits the RS body fine (The 58 cm body has a 9cm neck). However since you have an 8cm head, you could ask them to mod the neck smaller for the 58 cm girl?
