Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I've done box opening threads for most of my dolls, but for some I just don't feel like it. My first large doll didn't get one partially because he didn't have any of his things (and him being the first of his size I didn't have extras like I do now). My latest doll didn't get one either, and honestly it wouldn't have been a very exciting one either, plus it was getting dark :lol: I do still take pictures to keep for myself though.

      I like looking at other people's box openings too. I guess it's the joy coming from the text and sometimes slightly blurry pictures due to shaky hands that does it :) Sometimes it is to see new sculpts as well. Box opening videos is one thing I've never been fond of though, I often feel awkward watching them, and honestly it takes up waaay more time than me reading does :sweat

    4. I like seeing box opening photo threads, to see what a doll I'm interested in looks like nude and/or blank and to see packaging, but I have to admit I've never watched a box opening video. The idea just doesn't really appeal to me.

    5. Boring? I would be never bored by opening a new doll box! Maybe people who order 244445 dolls can be bored, I can admit xD but definitively not me, that I open a doll's box every solar eclipse!

      oh I understand it was different the question... well, I like to watch box opening in general, I like to see the happiness of other people, it remember me the first time I opened my first box... it was so magical.....

      I don't do them much because I get so eager to open the box before I think of bringing my camera
      I do watch box opening videos for dolls I'm interested in just to see how they're packed and the extras that come with them

    9. As i seen of opening videos on youtube, opening doll much better than any other "toys" at least none talking too much about the picture printed on the BOX :P and directly talk the contents :)

    10. I've done box openings for almost all of my full dolls. I usually don't do box openings for heads but I make sure to take some pictures for myself even if I don't post them.

      I also love to look through box openings and watch box opening videos. I love the excitement when others open up their new dolls.

    13. Personally I love watching box openings. Especially if the person opening it are excited and you can see it on their face and the way the act. It makes me extremely happy for them! It's always interesting to see the different reactions.
      Though if they tend to be long I just skip to the part where they have the doll out.

    14. I myself am not patient enough to do a box opening XD but I guess I will for once with my next doll lol..
      I do like being able to watch them when searching the internet for certain dolls ^-^
      and well sometimes I continue clicking from one to another and so on and end up finding dolls I like and adding them to my wishlist XD

    15. I love box opening my own dolls, although the endless tape is a hassle x'D
      I love looking at photostories and reading about the excitement of other people who have received their doll~
      However, watching box openings aren't my thing as I'll end up feeling jealous and go on a spending spree -purse waves fist angrily-

    16. Unboxing is the best part of buying things (not only dolls)
      I love to receive package and open it.
      When you open you bjd box and smell the new fresh resin, my world stop. I enjoy it every second opening the box and then play with the dolls

      Maybe it is the reason why i keep buying

    17. I watched some doll box openings on youtube over the weekend and found I skipped a lot of the messing around as I wanted to just see the dolls in scale to a human! I did have a laugh at the opening of some Doll Chateau Ada's though, I'm not sure why people were so surprised by her being so small :D

    20. haha I agree :) I love watching box opening videos because, even though it isn't my doll, I still get a feeling of "yay! new dolly!". I haven't bought any in quite a while so it's like living vicariously through other people XD especially when its a doll I wished I had
