Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. I personally enjoy watching box openings of dolls that I'm interested in owning and sometimes for dolls that I find really nice but I wouldn't want for myself.
      I don't see myself doing a box opening video of my own though as I'm a bit camera shy.

    5. During my own box opening, I got really excited that I ended up forgetting to take photos (that, and my camera wasn't at hand during the time). :lol:
      I don't really watch box opening videos, but I do like to look at photos (with accompanying text) of other people's box openings. :3

I know that I'll never have many of these awesome dolls, so I love to see other people's excitement when they open their new arrivals :dance I always look for box openings after I find a company doll I like, to see how the real-life version stands up to the promo pics.

    16. I enjoy reading/watching box openings. I just think it has to do with the excitement and happiness. It makes me smile when I see box openings. I always tell myself I'm going to do one someday, but then I always get wrapped up in my own excitement that I forget to take pictures while I'm taking my doll out for the very first time. Oh well, maybe next time I'll remember!

I never did a box opening of my first, yes I have pictures of the box and the doll with her certificate, but it seems to me people have to do the box opening just to prove the authenticity of the doll. Iam against recast dolls, and I would want proof of the dolls authenticity if I was buying from someone else, but personally I think box openings are boring and I don't think people should be forced to do them under pressure if their doll is legitimate.

    19. I love box opening photos, but fo not have the patience to watch videos as much. The photos lets me see proportions and make size predicitons. Very useful and very enjoyable :)
