1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Bringing your doll to an Event

Oct 14, 2013

    1. :)There are SD carrier's you can buy to carry them around also l heard of some people using a baby strollers as well. I have one MSD so far and l would use a MSD carrier.

    2. I can't speak much for carrying the SD size around, since mine usually don't make it out to more than the local con, but since I actually flew to Acen with three dolls (and last month, to another con with five of them), the best way to transport a doll is to pack it very carefully. The larger ones get wrapped in a soft padded blanket, and then tucked together in an old shipping pillow that gets wrapped around them. The smaller ones get zipped up into Soom Teenie Gem pillows most of the time, and any magnetic hands go into a small "first aid kit" that came free with the purchase of some bandaids (as do their wigs). For flying, they ALWAYS stay in the carry-on bags I take with me, never the checked ones, which is why the SD don't go along.

    3. Mine are either in a tote bag or in my arms, positioned so they can look forward.
