1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Buyer‘s regret

Apr 28, 2024

    1. I did that once and I ended up listing the doll for sale within a week after I received it. There were two preorders on it and I ordered during the second one. The dolls from the first period were not in yet so I only had artist photos to base my decision on. When the owner photos started showing up I knew I was not going to like the doll. I had to wait another few months hoping I would like it but knowing I probably wouldn’t.

    2. It is so hard to be patient for that long! I find myself looking for used dolls, if available, to avoid a wait that feels like forever!

    3. I have I think 14 bjds right now and I haven’t encountered buyers regret only two times. The reason for the first regret is because of her posability problems. Since I was new to bjds I didn’t know how to deal with them and she was the odd ball out of my current collection size wise. Then the other doll I regretted buying was because something about her face sculpt in the skin color I selected was off putting to me so I had to sell her too.

    4. I was dealing with trauma by doing massive shoppings. I realised there will be always a doll I will totally love but I don;t have to have it. Or if i regret not ordering it there will be always a secondhand market. I am afraid of buying somewhing on a sphree ( even if i feel this is the most beautiful doll ever) and then getting it half a year later and not feeling it anymore. I need to finally sell some of my regrets, just need an access to market place xD
