Buying your second BJD

I bought my first boy nearly two years ago. I loved him from the moment I set eyes on him online, to the moment I first saw him irl. Now (two years and two heads later...) I've just bought my second boy. It wasn't so much that I felt bad about buying a second full doll, already having a full one at home, or anything like that. I just didn't have the money to spend!

 

I bought my second one about... two weeks after reciving my first. XD
And around this week, or next, I will order my third. But after this one (they are all brothers!) I will not buy anyone more in a couple of years (or ever I dunno, or maybe a training head) and buy them stuffs.

 

When I bought my first doll, I had buyer's remorse until he came. >: And then I had it for after then, because I learned that I had no idea how to make clothes. After I got him some, I felt better.. x3; I still didn't do much with him, though, so I sold him to my friend for cheaps, because I'll see him again someday.~
I've paid for my second and next doll, an AS Leira Milk. Her name will be Lo (Because her "brother" is "Flo" Florence. Thought it's cute. 8D Her's is Lorelei.) I've had absolutely NO buyer's remorse for her, somehow. It's gotta be that cute smile. I can't wait until she comes.~

In between their order dates is about seven months.

 

I bought my second doll while I was waiting for my first doll to arrive. I still love them both. The second one (AOD mini Liu Yin in WS) arrived before my first (Lati Yellow Coco)

 

I haven't even bought my first doll yet and I'm already planning on getting a second. I'm using the same excuse as I did when I wanted another kitten:
"He'll get lonely when I'm gone. He needs a friend!"

 

I don't have any dolls yet but I've been thinking about it for nearly a year now! I have two characters, so I will be getting them both at the same time. I have one that I would prefer to get before the other, though. I feel like I shall be content with just two, but we'll see...

 

It took me 7 months to get my second doll. I was originally eyeing a different sculpt for her, but I specifically wanted that sculpt in white skin, unfortunately white skin isn't a standard skintone in Elfdoll, after they told me they weren't sure when they were going to release that sculpt in white skin, I gave up and bought a different doll instead.

Many months later they finally released the doll I originally wanted in white skin, but it was too late, I'm very happy with the one I got instead.

 

Its a strange feeling I have two but one days is for a totally one girl; her photoset,her cloths change, wig chance, on resume look chance and another day is for another girl. I buy on 3 months later the firt one.
I Don't want forget one and play with another for ever XD

I bought my second one about a year after I got my first one.
Would have been sooner except for the whole "not having money" fact.
Actually I'm still waiting for my second doll to be shipped out, and I just bought a floating head today xD

 

I decided to get a 2nd doll soon after I finally took my first doll out of her little storage in my room after 2 years. Got into sewing the 1st one some clothes and then it hit me: I wanted her to have a friend. So I went into a long search for the perfect friend for Mimi. It took me about a month to decide between Lati Yellows and Pukifees. My final decision was a Pukifee Ante as my 2nd doll She was also a birthday present for myself.

 

I always knew, even before i decided on my first that there would be more than one. My second boy was ordered much sooner than i thought he would be though because i had the money available. There was about 2 months between receiving my first boy and ordering my second...and now i'm getting a third for christmas!

 

I WANTED to wait a bit before I ordered my second doll.

My first doll was second hand from DoA mp, and I love him do death. But, it hasn't even been five months and I have already ordered myself a 1/4 and contemplating another 1/3.

 

i was just think about buying my second doll. even though i'm still waiting for my first one to arrive...i've already planned on my next doll. well i have the character made, but i'm still looking at heads..to find just the perfect one, but i've found a few i like.
