Buying your second BJD

in the space of about...lets say 2-3 months ive bought 4 dolls and just bought another one so lets make that 5... and these i all consider my first dolls lol as i still also considermyself a n00b to BJD's my first one a Luts KDF that i odered at the end of April (Takuya) was the first to actually arrive, the rest ive actually bought from the Market place on here (besides one which i bought from happyhouse4u.com lol) but yeh when buying your 'second' doll if you have the money i would say go ahead and buy from one of the main dolls sites like Luts, DOD, Iplehouse ect... but if you dont, then i would suggest once you have access to the market place on here have a brouse around, you usually find some good dolls for a good price :3

 

I orderd my second....and third .... dolls just last night. This means I'll have purchased them all in almost exactly a month's timespan. It was moreso that I fell hard in love with Dollzone MSDs at a recent meet than anything else. I just couldn't resist getting one, but I couldn't decide between a boy and a girl, so I got both. It will be nice to have them along with my first doll because they can handle some of the more playful or lolita styles that my Jacqueline would kill me for putting her in. I don't think she'll mind the company, though.

 

I just got my first doll, but it was the third one I ordered. The first two haven't arrived yet XD I didn't wait long because some I just fell in love with and HAD to get. If you know you'll like them then I don't see why you should wait. If you are unsure, then it is good to wait and see.

 

I decided of a second 15 days after having the first.
I order him as well from the second market to have him faster.
I was annoyed to let alone the first..
I wish to do photostories so..I need at leat another character..
I bought the same cie (DOD) for the quality (love so much these resin!!).. same size (less expenses)

 

I got my first a month ago, a girl SD. I only planned on one BJD since I have quite a collection of antique dolls already. That didn't last long, she needed a boyfriend. I'm waiting at home today for my boy to arrive. I'm so excited that I keep looking out the window every sound I hear. Its been a long day waiting for that UPS truck.

 

I received my first one in Sept. now I am considering another.At this point I am researching here before I make a decision.

 

I want to Buy 3 more but i had already decided when i receved my first boy it was finaized. SO i am getting a delf El a Crobi Doll Nao and i havent Decided on the last one. But saving up is the Hard part. And I am getting my friend her first one for Christmas since her mom wont let her buy one because she thinks their a Waste of money....ITS a forum of art (Art School Student)

 

Oh dear. At first it was only one. Little Fee "Ante". She's perfect. She's beautiful. I must have her ! Oh what's that? A Felix Doll Brownie for only $68? Well then, I guess I shall have to get her as well . *orders* What is that cute bunny doll? A Cocotribe Ruby? Well I guess she can come too. Oh no, oh no, not more! Doll In Mind has two BIG dolls I want! So much for my former promise of only tinies. I fail . Four dolls I must have. Damn this lunacy !

Oh who am I kidding, I love it .

 

XD I had my second doll two months before my first one ever came home!

I paid in full for my DZ Mo-2 set in mid-March, and a couple of days later I was talking to my friend and she was telling me how she had just gotten her RS/BBB An and decided he wasn't fitting in with her other resin kids and she was looking to sell him. Welllll...

Karie has no impulse control sometimes, apparently. XD

I immediately offered to buy him from her, since he was fairly inexpensive and right near by, so I wouldn't have to wait forever and a day for him (like I did with DZ). I paid her all but like...... a fourth of the money right then and there, and then gave her the rest the next week. I wasn't sure about him until I got him and started looking at him and fiddling with him. A new face up changed him entirely and now he's loved as much as the first boy who finally got here in May. XD

Its silly, I got my second boy before the first one ever arrived!

 

I got my second doll about four months after my first, because I had the idea that I wanted to end up with dozens of them so I had better start right away. Right now I only have two dolls and they don't even live with me currently. If I ever buy a third it will be a long ways away.

 

I really only wanted one but am already planning for 3 more. As soon as Junkyspot gets one in stock, I am getting ANOTHER BBB Apollo after less than two months with my first doll. I just love him so much, but he just needs a brother with a different personality and to keep him company. I had the intent of buying only one a year, but I just can't control myself! MORE DOLLS!!! XD

 

Got my AA "San" a little over a week ago....had trouble deciding what and who until a friend enabled me by ofering me a deal.... So I already knew I wanted a Unidoll Berkut since he's a "Man" and San is a boy....
But San is lonely....and the Elfdoll June I want falls into the "Woman" category so now I must search for a suitable SD13 size mate for San..... How did this happen? 2 weeks ago I didn't own ONE and now I "NEED" to buy 3 more???????

 

One day after ordering my first doll I ordered the second one. I just coudnt resist...

It is funny how "wants" become "needs" so quickly. My first doll of course needed an older brother.

 

Well.. My first one has just been shipped but I've been hunting down his companions/sibling and even his mother (Just a slightly younger version). XD

I really want to shell these characters I've worked so hard to create... and then I found BJDs. I'm trying to take my time though and poke around used markets before I just go crazy and end up with NO money. I need some to live on, too. -cough.-

 

I just ordered my first BJD, an AoD Rao a week or two ago, and I've already picked out another boy and a girl (both MSD sized as well) that I'm in love with and want desperately, :P. I think I'll get the boy, an Iplehouse Ryan, if I make enough money at my next convention, but that means I need to work my butt off to have enough stock ready >.<

 

I have already bought my second before my first has even come (any day now), but that's after almost 6 months of going on line and looking and looking and looking some more. I joined DoA after I put my first on layaway so its all y'all's fault-tee hee!

 

I've had Nikki for about a year and a half. Around his birthday is when I started thinking about getting a girl, I also wanted to make girls clothes. lol ^^

So now I'm saving/in the market for a SDF Annette head and a pink Fdoll girl body. So I'm not going all out to get her straight from LUTS with SDF body. Still in college and trying to save. ^^

I'm kinda thinking about turning Nikki into an SD, but that would require serious thought. My technical first was a SD, D1-Syon, but I hated his face. Sold him and immediately settled on a Kid Delf Bory. I'd have to be 100% sure before I even think about selling my little guy.

 

I bought my first doll less than a month ago (a Luts Moon) here on the Marketplace and just a couple of hours ago I bought my second doll (Soom Gena) - also from the Marketplace.

I've wanted a Moon for years but only recently had the funds to actually start buying bjds. I was going to order one from Luts during their recent event, but there was one on the Marketplace with a beautiful face-up so I got him instead. (He's sitting on my computer table next to me right now.) I love the heck out of this doll.

The same happened with the Gena. She was on my list of dolls to buy and I was going to order from Soom -- but someone had a lovely one on the Marketplace for a great price so I bought her today. I really looking forward to receiving her.

Next on my list is a Peak's Wood Skiya, and then I think I'll be done with ordering dolls for a while, and will concentrate on wigs and clothes. I really want to learn to make good bdj clothes for male and female dolls, so I wanted good examples of both sexes to uave as a reference.

 

Probably one month after i ordered my first one. It was the Luts winter event and i totally fell in love with my Alfie. So i just clicked "order" before my first one even arrived. The other reason was because ever since i ordered my first boy, i've always wanna get another one to keep them company. So my two boys arrived at about the same time, which was not bad ^.^

 

Well for me, buying my second BJD was kinda unplanned. I just happened to look around the few doll websites and as soon as I saw Feeple Iden from Fairyland i just said "Omg I have to have him!" Full Package at that too, and so It was so I started saving for him and soon he will be on his way.
