1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Cheek Blushing, Anyone? Or Lack Thereof?

Mar 12, 2010

    1. I'm crazy about blushing on the cheeks~! :D And on the nose. And chin. Argh, I just love it! Now I think about it, I've always loved rosy cheeks... I had a Beauty & The Beast colouring book when I was little, and the first thing I always coloured was Belle's cheeks, hahaha XD I just had pages of these little spots of pink and not much else XD </weirdchildhoodmemory> I do it in my artwork these days, too. Very adamant about it! I don't feel like a picture is finished until there's blush of some sort!

So, I guess it makes sense that it transfers over into dolls, too...

I like blush on cheeks that is quite low down, sort of level with the mouth and swept upwards. I think it makes dolls look quite young, though.

    2. I think it all depends on the doll ^^ There are some dolls that I think would be better with more pronounced cheekbones, so then I like them to have cheek blushing, and then some girl dolls I think look pretty with a little rosy blush ;D
