1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Clothes That Fit Wishels?

Dec 19, 2006

    1. Oh yes, Sylvanian Families:D The US equivalent is Calico Critters^^ I have found the Sylvanian Families to be much cuter actually... I don't suppose they sell fashions separately for them? I haven't seen any for Calicos but maybe they're out there. At this point, I am thinking of trying my hand at sewing some clothes for my Wishels once they arrive:D I allready have some Kelly shoes for them, the clothes have been the biggest challenge. I just haven't been thrilled with anything I've seen yet so I think sewing is my best option.

    2. Oh by the by, can anyone confirm for me whether or not Mattel Kelly shoes fit? Not the off brand shoes but the original Kelly Club shoes?

    3. Oh dear.. I hope someone can tell me o.o

    4. The wider sandals that were in a boys set did fit, but the other shoes I tried did not (sneakers, ballet flats, and Maryjanes) his feet are too big to get them on.

    5. My friend who owns four Wishels has a huge collection of Kelly shoes, so many that she had to buy a special sorting container for them! And yes, most, if not all, DO fit. I've never had any trouble putting Tommy shoes on my Wishel, either.

    6. I found some more kelly shoes to try, here is a picture of what styles I tried on my festivous wishel:

Top row all do not fit Wishels.
      Bottom row fit Wishels.
both rows include sneakers because the bottom one is gummy rubber which does fit,
top sneaker is stiffer material which did not go on.

    7. Oh thank you so much for doing that, so helpful! I unfortunately bought ten pairs of Kelly shoes all similar to ones in your top row so I guess they won't be fitting my new babies. Ah well, live and learn, right? Thank you for helping me out, I only wish I had asked sooner!

    8. Glad if I could help, sorry I didn't come across the shoe bag sooner.

If they shoes you got are the soft gummy feeling kind they still may work. (but dont try and force on the stiff ones on, if you do manage to get them on they are a PITA to get off.)

    9. I just received this afternoon actually and they are all gummy save for one pair which is a bit stiff and I am not interested in even trying that one. I'm terrified of hurting their feet by putting it on or trying to remove it. If none of them work I'll still at least have some Kellys who can wear them^^;

    10. I have over 50 pairs of Kelly shoes that fit my Wishels. The only shoes I avoid are boots, since they would be super hard to take off.
As for the Kelly clothes...I don't even know how many outfits I have! I have to say though that the newer Kelly clothes rarely fit, since Kelly has definately gotten smaller over the years. Most of the older Kelly stuff fits quite well, with the exception of non-stretchy pants. Kelly hats may or may not fit.

    11. My Wishel baby just arrived today and I couldn't be happier!:D:aheartbea I tried initially to put one pair of her new shoes on but I stopped midway when I realized I might need to push her foot the rest of the way in O.o; I'm still a novice at bjding as yet so I just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything dumb even if the shoes are gummy >.> I wouldn't dream of putting boots on her, I feel that would just end up being certain death >.< I'm thrilled to find that Kelly clothes would fit though I am still trying to procure some for my new baby:D I've thought of trying my hand at sewing tiny outfits for her, I can sew but I know this will be a challenge^^; I recently found Steffie Love, a sweet chubby little kelly-like doll made in Europe I believe it is^^ I'm hoping her clothes will end up fitting^^ I haven't tried yet but I think they should^^

    12. Hello again, everyone:D I'm resurrecting this thread in the hopes that someone can help me a little more. Has anyone tried the Disney Enchanted Nursery doll shoes on their Wishels? I love tiny plastic shoes and I'm bent on finding more that will fit. If anyone knows of any other plastic shoes that would fit a Wishel please let me know:D Thanks so much!

    13. The main problem with petit blythe clothes is that petit blythe's arms are super skinny, but the petit outfits that are intended to be worn over animal suits (like puppy on a date or meowmin) are a bit bigger. They fit perfectly:)

    14. Just wanted to mention that I have found the Disney Enchanted Nursery(also called Royal Nursery) Princess baby dolls' clothes and shoes fit Wishels:D The dresses and bathing suits are a bit roomy, rather like Baby Born Miniworld clothes. The shoes are much too big but will stay on. Some have more room than others because of how they are made. The toes tend to be either opened up or filled in. I ended up with one pair where one shoe was filled in at the toes and the other wasn't. I'm going to see if socks will help keep the shoes from sliding around so much.
