Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       * What did you order?
      Red Rabbit - in the old blue resin

      * How was the communication?
      Fantastic. I had a lot of questions that I sent via email to confirm resin color and they were very fast and very helpful with their replies. Most replies came within a day. The longest I had to wait for a response was over a weekend. They even took an unedited photo of the resin color in normal lighting to show me what it looks like. I did not ask them to do that. They did it themselves so that I would not be confused by their different blues.
      * How easy was it to pay?
      Easy. Payment was via Paypal.
      * How long did it take to ship?
      Not long. It was a preorder and was shipped out within the estimated time for the preorder. It was shipped via DHL and I received the doll two days after it was shipped. It went from Hong Kong to Los Angeles.
      * Were there any missing or broken items in your order?
      No. Everything was packed safely and arrived as ordered.
      * If there were any problems with your order, how did the company handle them?
      No problems.
      * Would you order from this company again?

      * How was the communication?
      I had to reach out a few times, but the responses were timely.
      * How easy was it to pay?
      They originally asked me to pay F&F, which is a huge red flag and I declined to do so—they immediately informed me that I could pay G&S when I showed my disinterest in this sort of payment arrangement. This ended up being crucial when they chose to fight me over damages later.
      * How long did it take to ship?
      She arrived to me on April 17, 2024
      * Were there any missing or broken items in your order?
      Yes. The eyelash immediately came loose and pulled the faceup off with it on the eye. Some pieces in the full set came damaged (tho I was able to fix these myself), and her neck wasn’t quite wide enough for the hook, which I had to sand down on my own to get it to fit proper. However, my concerns were primarily the faceup damage.

      * If there were any problems with your order, how did the company handle them?
      Quite frankly, they didn’t. Despite having almost immediate replies to me when I would message them to pay or for updates (like, they literally would respond within hours), it took them 5 days to reply to my first email that I sent the same day I received her with photos of the problem.

      Then, they took almost two weeks to respond, (after I sent another email asking for a partial refund) saying that they believed the damage was “just mold” (which is just as horrific, if not more??? Than damage???), prompting me to get the big camera out to prove that this wasn’t something I could just wipe away.

      After yet another week of silence, they said I needed to send them a video of me opening the original box when I’d received her back on April 17 (I guess I was expected to just know she would come f-cked up), to which I responded by opening a PayPal case against them, completely done with this insane lack of CS.

      After another two weeks of waiting (they never responded to the case), PayPal finally closed the case in my favor and gave me my requested $60 refund. I honestly should have asked for more with how much BS they put me through, and since faceup artists charge a little more than this, but I’m glad I just got some sort of justice.

      * Would you order from this company again?
      Coral Reef has come out with some of my favorite doll sculpts as of late. This was honestly so incredibly disappointing, as my first experience with them went perfectly. I will likely buy from them again, but never direct. ACBJD is a dealer for them now, so I will absolutely let them deal with the company going forward. I highly suggest you do the same.
