Could you ever have just ONE BJD?

I'd be a hell of a lot richer if I could stick it out with just one. There are just too many personalities out there that demand I buy them. And with the rather slow selling in the MP lately it's not so easy to stick to my selfimposed limit of 6 cause I buy faster than I can sell mine xD

Choosing to keep one.. well I suppose my Narin or my Lion. I'm more attached to them cause they're finished characters while the others are still in progress.

 

I think choosing which doll I had to have and sold/let go of the rest would be like choosing the same for my kids. each one of my dolls is different. I only have 4 (well and and a tiny) three of which are LE's.
all are delf dolls as I like the feel of them and their weight distribution better.

so like I said, they are each their own person, so it would be hard to separate, although I did only intend on owning one, they kind of multiplied, lol

 

I have thought at times how much eaier and better for my wallet if I could just settle for one or even two. But then I look aty my currant 6 and I say but which ones could I part with. Maybe if I had not met them, but it's to late for me.

 

Hah, too late. I've got 3. There's a weird appeal to having a doll family.
For some reason, I think it would be pretty awesome to have so many BJDs to the point where you'll lose one and find him/her poking their heads out of your shoes or lounging in a cabinet next to junk food days later because of a postponed/distracted from a photoshoot (I have ADD-ish symptoms and bad short term memory).
But alas, my bank account and the economy will never let me.

 

Seeing my absolute adoration for multiples, I say there will be at least two in my hands eventually. Aine'll need a friend, you know!

 

Well I've refined my taste in BJDs so much that only a very specific look is what I want for my dolls, thus, owning "just one" is almost attainable to me. But only almost.

So far I've limited my choices to just one (soon to be two) because I've separated dolls I like (which includes almost all of them but I'm just content to look at them) and dolls I want (which, at the moment, are only two). So I guess with enough restraint and being ultra picky, just having one IS possible (for now, hehehe!). Perhaps lacking the $$ is the best solution to only having one.

 

I really could never be content with just one doll.
I already have an endless list of dolls that I must get!

After got my boy for one month, ordered my second boy....and i still want to get more dolls. I am helpless....
I love so many dolls and haven't find the one dreaming doll that i want. So i guess i could not choose THE ONE right now

 

i only want 1 doll~ i'm so excited for her to come in, i should be getting her tomorrow! i know i could never afford another doll, and would rather spend the money i'd spend on another doll on clothes for this doll anyway. so yes, i can happily own just one BJD~ ;u; ♥

 

When I first started looking, I thought I could, especially after I found Tae. But then as I started looking more, and as I see new dolls coming out, I know that I probably cannot. xD I definitely want to spoil Tae-Jun rotten for a while after I get him, but I forsee more dolls in my future, assuming I enjoy my first.

 

After owning 14 dolls, it's really hard to think about just having one. I always thought for sure I wanted two so the one wouldn't be alone. I remember having just one and how much easier it was, but to think now if I ever had to sell them all and keep just one, it would be very painful to choose.

 

Ahahas. I had been all, Once Ria is here, there won't be any more. But before her, there was Amanoe, my DZ Fox. He's the one who made me start the Archaean backstory, and now there's to be an SDF head coming along... *needs a body for him*

I would choose Ria (KDF Litchi), for I love her so much already. She's my darling little girl, while Ama-kun's the grouchy old fox with a perchance for being nice on the days he feels like it. -_-

I just got my first doll about a month ago, and I already have my second on order... and I'm thinking about ordering a third... Ya gotta have the whole family ya know?

i think havin 1 doll would be possible for me...
but i didn't even buy the first one and i'm plannin to buy second one xD i'm planning to have 2 or 3 dolls, two big boys and just maybe maybe a girl (cuz cute )
don't think i will have more, but hell, i've heard it's addicting xD
but i can't imagine having about 20 dolls like some ppl here do

I could't even start out with 'just one', and bought the Too/Bee-A pair from Dream of Dolls.

And if I got rid of all my dolls but one, she or he would be lonely without his or her spouse, lover, child, parent, bff, Somebody.

I could live with just one doll. I currently am.
But i have an overwhelming desire to adopt unwanted dolls. When i have the cash that is. I've gone through a couple of dolls and the only one i've never gotten rid of is Daphne (my bee-a) I thought about selling her, i tried to, but i changed my mind.

 

My DoC Too, Miles, was originally gonna be my only doll.
But within two weeks of ordering him, I already had plans for others.
Thing is, as things stand he's still my only doll, so he'd obviously be my choice if I could only have one... but I don't think he'd like being my only doll for long. He's really looking forward to having more and more resin people like himself around, and I've caught him looking at the card that came with his LUTS wig... I think he's already trying to choose playmates for himself. XD
Plus, a big part of my intention of having BJDs is to have reliable models to help me with drawing and painting and whatnot. And since it's important to draw pieces with more than one person interacting, I couldn't have just one doll. As it is, I'm gonna have to borrow my sister's Bee-A for a lot of things since Miles is the only one I have so far.
Plus, I have SUCH a soft-spot for the dolls I see in the Marketplace... I want to give them ALL a new home. So I'll probably end up with a lot of them. ;_;

 

Oh my, I vowed I'd only get one, but hehe, many dolls bought and sold later... Right now I'm actually finding it brave of me to get down to one msd and my pipos family (soon to be four)

 

Oh god.

I don't even have my first girl yet, and there are already plans for 6 more. 3 SDs, 2 MSDs, and 1 Puki.

I could never have just one, without plans for any more. I never even made that resolution in time to break it.
