1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Crobidoll's limited Vampire Dan

Jun 16, 2010

    1. I guess they are exactly Dikadoll、s jointed hands lol !

    2. They are Dika jointed hands. Dika did not know they were being sold to Crobi. That's why the RRp is so different. Dika's are about $79, whilst Crobi were charging $90.

We don't think Crobi knew about this. But Dika wanted their dealers to give you guys a heads up.

    3. Dika hands sold through Crobi? That is bizarre XDDDDDDDDDDd

    4. Yeah, one of Dika's dealers sold them on to Crobi without permission.

I believe Crobi didn't realize where they were from, otherwise they wouldn't have charged so much.

    5. ............This is just confusing me. So a Dika dealer sold to Crobi without consulting Dika. Perhaps they sold to Crobi for more so Crobi is charging this higher price also? Perhaps Crobi doesn't even know who made these hands....

      Crobi ><

    6. Yes, that's my understanding. I doubt the dealer could have given them as good a price, so of course Crobi had to charge more.

I think Crobi probably didn't know they were Dika's...otherwise they would know there is no point charging more, as then it will be questioned.

I still think anyone who ordered should have the difference refunded though, as they have paid too much.

    7. O____o Wow... this is sad T_T
Well.... Maybe one day Crobi will make its own hands ??

Though.... does this mean dika hands fit Crobi bodies ?

    8. Izam: Here is the Dreaming Doll/Little Monica resin references, taken from the Harmony Line discussion and posted by Little Monica:

    9. Dikadoll, eh? You're right, they do look like them. Oh well... It's not a company I'm familiar with, so I wouldn't have even looked there and couldn't have known if the hands would fit the Crobi body anyway. If it's true, I'll consider the extra $15 (not much, really) a convenience charge for the luxury of not having to research sizes and resin matches for a company that I personally haven't done business with and haven't seen their dolls in person and then spend days worrying that when they arrive they won't fit. I spend too much time in the picture request forum, anyway. ;)

    10. Hrnnn . . . I was thinking of getting a pair before they sold out, but if they're Dikadoll and the match isn't even perfect for Crobi I wouldn't bother. I guess it's Crobi's year for doing weird things? :sweat

    11. Guess I'm the optimistic one here, so I'll let you guys know about the resin match... or lack thereof. My Crobi body has a Luts SSDF Cane head, anyway, and he'll mostly be wearing long sleeves. I was more concerned about the size and proportion, but they look like they'll match nicely, and they aren't as skeletal looking. On the Crobi site, it lists the manufacturer as "AC", whatever that means. Alice Collection, maybe? No mention of Dikadoll.

    12. So they use same formula I guess. It's strange though. I would think each company would come up with their own formula. That's why each company's resin will feel different from each other despite where it is casted.

    13. That's what I thought, too, but I don't have a Dreaming Doll to compare it to. Check the Harmony Line discussion, they go into it a bit more extensively. Even if they are sister companies, you'd think the resin would be different... Luts and Fairyland don't match, and they're sister companies.

I believe I read somewhere on Crobi's site that they base their NS on Volks NS, though.

    14. it is extramely similar to DK hands??

    15. They are Dika jointed hands. Dika's are about $79. You can purchase trough DIKA or from other oversea agents:me(exclusive on DOA), jeeryama (exclusive on ebay), mintoncard(exclusive in US), angeldolls(UK), RoseDolls(UK), Luxour Academy (Canada), allthewaydown(Italy, EU), indollgence(Aus), legenddoll(Japan)...

    16. Also wind dolls in France if i'm not wrong.

    17. I think Crobi figured out is it Dika hands now. The Dika dealer who sold to them didn't have authorization. I don't think this dealer even told Crobi what kind of hands or what brands they were.

If Crobi knew they were Dika hands, it doesn't make sense for them to not do business directly with Dika but instead with one of the Dika dealer. The dealer wouldn't be able to give them a better price than Dika themselves. I think the dealer has tricked them. (bad dealer)

    18. Since Crobi had them listed as "Manufacturer: AC", maybe they got them through Alice's Collection, who also sells Dikadoll?

    19. I said like you in last page and Alice's Collection also selling DikaDoll joints hands. and So, Crobi bought some Alice's Collection clothes for sells on Crobi site.

I think this is not fair for buyer because they paid $90 for $79 joints hands and trust it manufactured by Crobi in first time (but wrong):|
(and some Alice's clothes selling on Crobi site are charge too much...)
about size, 65cm hands - Dikadoll do not have 65cm hands size and Alice's Collections do not sell 65cm hands.
why Crobi said this is 65cm hands? I trust it is 70cm hands of DikaDoll. If this right I think Crobi might be lied? or Alice's Collections might be lied?
I so confused :?,Is anyone talk with Crobi about this?

    20. Hyokito

I wasn't sure about the sizes they were quoting at first either. But I think the 2 they were selling are the Male 1/3 Hands & the Female 1/3 Hands, which are a bit smaller & slimmer.

Dika Doll sell their 1/3 dolls with a choice of 2 bodies too (61cm or 64cm). So I guess this is it. It can't be the 70cm size, because those are huge! I don't think they will work with 60cm type dolls...
