Custom House (AiDolls) Petite Ai 30cm and Ange Ai 27cm Discussion Part 3

Lemme just revive this old thread~

I acquired a doll that I can't find an established chat for this specific line. And at this point, it might be impossible to start one with any engagement. She's my Aidoll Enfant Ai Cho. Their forgotten chubby 21cm sized line. I'm trying to spread around this little cutie as company and owner pics don't seem to exist of her anymore. Thought ya'll might enjoy my little Dot.

I hadn't either until I found them by chance as I was looking at the old CustomHouse/Aidolls website on the wayback machine. There's not much info on them even there. These little chubs became a grail that I finally found on Mandarake! From what I can gather, the Enfant Ai line came out in 2011 with their first sculpt Mong. Cho came out some time between 2011-2013. Enfant Ai are like the older Bebe Ai line just made a little bigger.
Here's a lineup of the lines from the wayback machine:
Petit Ai, Ange Ai, Enfant Ai, Bisou Ai, and Bebe Ai

 

Amazing. Both the Enfant and Bebe lines entirely apssed me by.

Does anyone know if Luts Petit Delf Gabriel and Customhouse Petite Ai Gabriel are the EXACT same face sculpt (not modified). Somehow they look different to me so I want to know.

 

I just compared both of my CH Gabriels to the Petit Delf pictures and I can't tell for sure

POSSIBLY they have an everso slightly more upturned nose than the Delf sculpt but I coudln't say for certain.

Thank you. To me the eyes look different, CH Gabriel's eyes look more opened and Luts is squinting a bit.

Nope, the eyes were the first thing I compared.

My girls have two different sizes of Iris and tghe one with the bigger iris looks liek her eyes are more closed than the one with smaller ones. I think, what you're seing is the difference between empty sockets and ones with eyes in them.

Poking a very old thread, but can owners of the old Petit or Ange Ai describe the resin texture? Has it ever changed in their history?
Trying to help a friend roughly guesstimate the age of the Ange Ai Uri that she picked up in Japan. The resin reminded me of Luts and I would've assumed that this was an HDF Uriel (same head sculpt as Uri) were it not for the single joined CH body

 

It’s sort of stippled feeling? Not shiny, not velvety, but it feels nice and finished and has a dull eggshell sheen to it, at least for the Ruciel I have

My Raphael is older than her and he has less texture to his resin, but there’s still a tiny bit

 

My Raphael is the oldest and has very smooth un textured resin. My two Gabirel's are more recent (in boht the body details and resin) and their resin is less smooth - not rough but it has a little texture to it that sounds like @PearlZenith described

My Custom House Petit Ai Uriel from 2006 has very smooth resin, it's actually shiny.

 

Ange Ai was first released in 2007. My Ange Ai from 2008 has fairly matte textured resin. She has a hook in her head instead of magnets. Im not sure of the age of the other 3 Anges I own as they were all bought used without boxes or CoAs, but they are all on the newer body which I think was released in 2010? Thank you all! This is helpful to know. I'd describe that Ange Ai as more eggshell like than smooth so I think it matches my hypothesis that this is a slightly later CH.
