1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Beautiful spring dress, Belinda. Love your Ring Master outfit, just stunning.

    2. Thank you Irine!

    3. Thank you to every one who have cheered me on for my blank Tessa doll. I t goes slowly I have gotten Halfway through the sanding. Because I have some problems healthwise this will go slow. Fortunately she not so heavy as my other dolls. Her eyes came and I have already named her Olive Rose because she has the beautiful olive green eyes. :)

    4. Hi ameiru, What are you sanding on your Tessa? I have two and they are both beautifully finished.

      Belinda

    5. I found very fine sanding kit w/different papers in small sizes from a company Denver Doll Emporium pretty reasonable priced. Sorry I did not get back to you till now. I had severe nerve attack and could not get out of bed. But today I am better! Oh did you sand your dolls? I will try to type latter I have many doctors appointments today. You have a great day. :) :)

    6. Sorry you're not feeling well. I hope you're on the mend now. I'm guessing you must have purchased a blank doll. ;)

      Belinda

    7. Thank you for the concern; I did get something better and the doctors I had to see changed some of my medications. So it goes well for now. Yes, I did buy a blank Tessa and I have named her Olive Rose. She is a pale skin but she is beautiful to me. She is also lighter in weight than my other dolls by Rainman (ELFDOLL). Oh all except my little doll.

    8. Glad to hear you're doing better; it's not fun to be sick. It will be nice to see your Tessa painted. I'd like to see how you'll style her. :)

      Belinda

    9. Thank you for your consideration Belinda,
I want to add your fashion creations are beautiful. I sew also but I have to get Olive rose, my blank Zentner finished and then a basic something to cover her. I have several other dolls that I sew for also all by Elfdoll. 1) Soah SB, 1 June LB, ! Special K, and 1 Hana Angel. The style or period I am in the middle of is Jane Austen ( the high waist long dresses like in ''Pride and Prejudice'') That's not to say I don't dislike other clothes. I will come on at another time. And again
      Thank You
      Miaka

    13. I just discovered this thread and imagine my happiness! So many beautiful Tessas! What a wonderful treat for the eyes!

Recently I was very fortunate to acquire a blank Tessa. I haven't done her body blushing yet, but did finish her faceup. Typically, I don't like to put the head back on until I've finished body blushing and any sanding. But I couldn't wait with Tessa! I wanted her to have a soft look. Your dolls have so inspired me!!! She's wearing an outfit that's a combination of Val Zeitler and my own meddling. Val made the blue skirt/blouse, I added the antique fabric and hand-dyed trim.

I'll be checking this thread more often. Belinda the outfits you've made are fabulous! I wish sewing were my talent!

Thank you for posting pictures of your beautiful dolls. I love seeing the different eye/wig combinations too! Please keep them coming!

    16. My blank Tessa is coming back form Angeltoast where she received her face up and full body blushing. I can not wait to see how she turned out.

    17. Oh Irine! You're so lucky to get a slot from her! I can't wait to see pictures of her too. I don't know of a Tessa painted by Angeltoast.

    18. Belinda, thank you so much. It is not that hard to get a slot from her. I have several dolls panted by her, she is really great to deal with.

I will post a picture of Tessa as soon as she arrives. On the pictures she looked very nice, so i hope it will be the same when i'll open her.
