1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dale Zentner's Tessa Discussion

Mar 6, 2013

    1. Thank You, Belinda,
those are really cute boots. Where did you buy them? I may just have to learn how to make high heeled shoes myself though. I think the shoes are pretty but I want high heels and certainly if her foot turns enough for the boots that means she could wear high heeled shoes. I have contacted Zentner but she hasn't tried to make any.
Thank you for your response and no need to apologize; I know you are busy.
      ameiru:):thumbup

    2. Thanks Ameiru. I found them on Evil Bay. rRabbit. I've thought about making shoes myself and when I get a bit of time, I might just try it. Good luck.

    3. Hey Belinda, I am looking seriously into it I am getting this air drying compound from ...I forget the name of the company...uh ..Oh Clay Ally and I have looked up videos on You Tube so I'm not quite there but as soon as I put it all together I will be able to start. I will keep you posted.

    4. It sounds like you have a great start; I'll be waiting to hear (and hopefully see) your progress. :)

    6. Oh Belinda, that outfit is cute as can be! Your creativity always amazes me:aeyepop::drool

    7. Thank you Ameiru! I just love creating for this doll!

      Belinda

    8. I found you on Facebook and I am following you there. And about you loving to create for the dolls I get it creating is in the blood and I love it always for many things. Keep going and just do it (creating).

    9. Thanks! I love it when like minds feel the same! :3nodding:

    10. I have a question for Zentner owners. I purchased a Zentner body but it was not sent in a box. This was a few years ago - but I wondered if it was to have come in a box?

    11. All I can tell you is the original doll (with head and fullset outfit) would have come in a box from the artist.

    12. OH, the person I purchased from told me she only had the certificate. Are Zentner dolls some that are being duplicated in China? Dang - purchased in 2013 and never thought about recasts then. I just wrote the person I purchased from (she is no longer in BJD's) and she had purchased on the secondary market and no longer could remember who she purchased the full doll from. So this doll may go to Ebay for sale - darn. I am much more careful these days.Thank you Elfstone!

    13. I haven't heard of anyone trying to recast Dale's dolls. She's a fairly small artist who only produced about 15 or 20 dolls a year at the very most. I don't think she'd be popular enough to make it worth it for recasters.

    14. Both of my Tessa's came in a regular cardboard box, not a special artist style box. I don't have certificates for mine either. I own #7 and a blank Tessa and both were purchased directly from Dale.

I agree with elfstone regarding recasts of Dale's dolls.

    15. Thank you both so much. So I have an unmarked tan box - perhaps that is how the body came to me.
Again thanks to both of you for all the help. Jo

    16. Tessa and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
