Congrats!! I'm seriously considering a layaway for this event. The more I look at Hera, the more I think I might be falling in love with her... I just want to see those eyebrows differently. Did you order her blank? I'm not artistically gifted so both of my girls will have face-ups done by Darak-i ^^ Do you have a plan for her face/look yet? I'm so jealous you'll be getting her in one of those awesome boxes too. I've always wanted one of them! I would have ordered one extra this time but I couldn't afford it with the extra body for the event head >.<
Yes, I ordered her blank!. ^_^ I'm not a pro in faceups, but gained enough experience for decent ones, and I really like doing them. I have some ideas for her but often my doll's personality comes through during the process of faceupping/choosing eyes and wigs etc. They sometimes end up differently than what I intended for them initially. It's not the first time that Darak does an event, I hope you'll get a doll with the fancy box next time!!!!
I've gone for the whole lot! Body blushing and all! I regretted not getting it with my Darak-i Claire so I've gone all out. There will be no regrets!!! When I ordered Claire from the day they got my money to the day she arrived at my door in the UK only took 16 days. Insane right?? When did you order?
I ordered just before Christmas, and they announced 30 to 45 business days so I'm waiting patiently. ^_^ (my, my, 16 days for a doll non-second hand doll never happened to me before, but I got some dolls in under a month, though... ^_^)
Yeah, I was so shocked to see the status change to 'shipped' in under 2 weeks, and then it only took a few days to get to me! I'm guessing with having ordered two dolls this time and the event happening it might take more time... I can still hope! I noticed you have an etsy shop... will you be sewing stuff for Remy?? It would be so good to see some tailored Darak-i stuff. From their measurements they're not too far off minifee though... I hope the stuff I've bought them fits xD
Yes, I will sew stuff for Darak girls, sure. ^_^ (And I won't say more about it here, were not allowed to advertise our shops in discussions.) But you can always stay tuned by follwing the link in my signature. ;-) Sewing is what got me into the dolly-hobby (Bjd and other dolls), I always liked sewing for dolls and I really like sewing for all the different gals out there, and I love the diversity of bodies that are out there. The Darak bodies look soooo adorable on screen. I can't wait to have my cutie at home!!! But as Darak girls are slim mini, I'm sure most slim mini stuff will fit them anyway, the more noticeable differences between bodies are between slim mini and Iplehouse JID or Volks MSD, I think.
I followed you advice! I think slim mini stuff will fit, I have a DC K-01 body and she fits most minifee/U-noa stuff and Darak-i is very similar in measurements (on paper anyway). Has your tan girl dispatched yet? I love sewing, however I have no flair... I have such great ideas that always end up so messy D: Luckily I have just enough MSD clothes that no one will be naked when they arrive
Yes, despite all different slim mini bodies around, they can exchange clothes quite easily. ;-) Ahhh and no, my cutie is still on the "preparing product" stage, but I prefer they take their time and she comes as perfectly and lovely as I expect her to be! ^_^

My girls were in the UK going through customs for about a week >.< but I've just been sent a picture of the box - it has arrived at my flat! I will get to meet them tomorrow when I get home!! Thank you! Little do you know Hera (Nissa to me) has no bottoms >.< just the corset hahaha. So close! I really cannot wait to see her. You won't be disappointed. I'm over the moon with the quality (again!). They have silicone kips (I think this is the right term) in all the joints so the posing is insane. I love their ability to pose. Yes Nancy, it is the company face-up B. I asked for different eyebrows, but still got the worried ones, which I don't like so much, but the fringe covers that nicely. They don't seem to do well with special makeup requests. The pictures on the site look too dramatic, so I got the blank head and got a faceup on Semy who is lovely. She is waiting for my to straighten my photo area!
