Auntbear, I'd love to see your hybrid if you decide to go with a Darak body for your Choco. I think it'd be cute! Tomorrow I hope to finally have a day to concentrate on face ups. And then I want to make Faust a little dress.

I love Arwyn's new outfit! It's so feminine on such a feminine girl. I think Darak isn't well known yet but itching they're beautiful. The girls are very girly which is so sweet. . Did you make the outfit? It fits her perfectly.
i hadn't thought of them as a hybrid, mostly because i didn't know you could buy the bodies separately but i'm going to save up and get a new body for choco as soon as i can now, i definitely want to try it. if it works i have a couple of other dollzone heads i'd been eyeing that may end up on darak bodies too. i had decided not to get them 'cause i was really unimpressed with the dz body.
I've been toying with getting a MSD remi body for my MSD girls now that i know I like the DC hybrid. It poses so beautifully! I'd put a DiM head on it. I wonder if the DiM Sweet heads would work on the tiny Darak body? I like a lot of their sculpts too.
The Darak-i body is lovely and practical in all sizes! I look forward to seeing any hybrids both for fun and for my own future plans. [MENTION=22219]Pony[/MENTION], no I commissioned the outfit but I've had to pull the back of the dress with a clip so it fits properly, it's about 6cm too big on the chest... (And that wasn't the only sizing issue... >.<) I really should start sewing again though. Maybe during the Easter break. Anyway, she looks rather angelic in it so it's okay I guess. Yes, 6 cm is a huge mistake especially on a commissioned outfit. It is very pretty though. Thank goodness! I think the Claire size dolls are so feminine and pretty. It's a very nice size.

It was just generally inconsistent, I also ordered a little cardigan but that is so small it barely fits her (she can't move her arms in it). The little shawl is also rushed. So I won't go back to the company again, but I'm okay with it I guess. I was after something like the company photos of Claire, as this is what made me fall in love with her about a year ago when I first started looking into BJDs. I think you're being a good sport about your commission, Kamia. I do some sewing and I'd say that your seamstress probably didn't work with the measurements for Claire at all. It's almost as if she had a dress made for a thicker doll on hand already and just sent you that. It isn't right and I'd have been upset! It does look really big.

It's like every time I come here to look at this thread I just have this compulsion to post Opal! Here she is jealous of the light tan skintone HAHA! Personally I think she's beautiful as a tanned dreamer but she thinks otherwise. Such a vain girl xD
