Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. Did a small change ever caused your doll to completely change character?

    1. My DZ Floy's character changed from a tough, bitter super model-uke type to a cynical bedridden immortal with just a change of wig and clothing. Same thing with my DZ Yuu. All he needed was an eye color change and some new clothes and now he's becoming a badass villain rather than the haughty prince-type he was before.

    2. Yup! I know this may seem very silly but... I got my puki Piki and the magnets in her one hand were not very strong. I kept loosing her left hand all the time. Eventually I never found it but... I decided that obviously my Puki did not want that hand and it would be part of her story. After that, she went from a tiny doll with just a name, to a little plant fairy who had been in a very bad fight and was cursed and lost a hand. But she is spunky and wont let that stop her.

      So I got epoxy and modded a curse onto her, covering up her missing hand (here is a link to my WIP photos if anyone is interested) and I got her a really awesome face-up (no good pics of that yet). So now my little Puki Abbey is unique and has her own story!

    3. My girl was my only doll for over a year, and it took some fiddling to get her "right". I eventually stumbled on the right wig and eyes for her, but she always looked very dreamy, and I couldn't quite figure out her character. I ended up ordering my second doll, not being too sure of what he would be like other than one of my drear characters (alien diplomats, for the most part), and BAM! Aidara let me know that she had been pining for her partner to get here. Suddenly, I had her story, and much of her personality (which is often still dreamy, but it tends to be that she's thinking about writing as opposed to looking lonely). By the time he got here, I had a good idea of how their relationship and their personalities worked. They are very different personality wise, but it helps them interact, I suppose. XP

    4. Actually, I changed my second doll, Golfin (AF Vent)
      He is an Elf, first wearing things like blouses with ruffles and slim, shiny boots. All white.
      But since I have Conal (Souldoll Chiron Human), Golfin liked as a sissy guy. ARGH!
      So he gets new chunky black boots and a white leather coat. And I like it!!!!

      Maybe some dolls needs "companions" to get their real character?
