awe thank you so much! I wiped the first face I gave her and miss it so much, I tried so many times to get it back but it wasn’t possible. I decided to photograph her and try to love her as much this way. ❤️

 

Aww that’s too bad. Her Faceup looks really good- I agree the more you photograph the more you’ll enjoy her new face

 

@krystina heres her before, I have no clue why I wiped her but the regret is severe!

 

Omigosh the darker makeup is breathtaking on her I totally get it- but I may be bias

I love the way you did her lips in her first makeup. You’re really good at faceups; her present one is very good too tho. If you plan to try again, maybe try again after some time has passed. Maybe you’ll come to like the new one more And maybe practice on a practice head before wiping your current Larina’s Faceup. I think this could help set you up for success when you go to do her Faceup again.

 

Yes,I think you’re bias,! I love your boy he’s a lovely one! Dim faces are so amazing with different artists painting them. The one I wiped was a by luck how it turned out, I’m not exactly sure why I wiped it as I also wiped a Nono with regrets as well.

Thank you for the compliment on my face ups. I sent dolls out only to pay and not be satisfied, they would be hard to photograph although pretty, I like my dolls cute so I prefer to paint them myself.

I have a few dolls to paint so I may work on them first, Larina will be last to redo so I’ll keep her that way until I brush up on painting, practicing on them .

 

Thank you I couldn’t reply to your other comment regarding Nymph- but I believe you did show me your girl (but you should spam photos of her anyway on the DIM thread AND the Art-tong thread . I’m trying to revive that one )
I finally got my Nymph her body but I’m shopping for a faceup artist that can do resin match Her resin is too dark for the body I have.
I will post more photos of Anima, my Art-Tong Dolce, when he gets his new outfit. I just been playing and posing my dolls for the time being lol.
And totally feel you about sending for faceups- I’ve had a faceup redone that PauliAnne painted)- the Faceup was so pretty but it just didn’t fit the personality of the doll. I wish we could take faceups off and put them on another doll or save them for later.

And that’s great you got so much practice before redoing Larina I’m sure you’ll be able to recapture her look again.

 

Actually I’m going to get practice when I start painting again because I have a few doll heads waiting for faces so their heads can join back to their bodies!

She does paint beautifully but if it’s not what you’re looking for that’s completely understandable!

Yes! I got her as a gift from Arttong when I purchased a 2nd Dolce head (I was sending my first Dolce head to an artist overseas and was afraid it got stolen by that artist. Luckily I got it back so I sold one of the Dolce heads. But seeing how Arttong doesn’t seem to sell resin heads anymore, and puts this doll sculpt in her art exhibits, I’m starting to think I should have kept it )

I don’t remember if it was through Flickr or through DoA you showed me your tan Nymph- I only remember cuz there’s not they many Arttong owners

oh wow you had two and sold one, I get it, seems every time I sell a twin I have regrets. Your Nymph is so cool, looking forward to seeing her faced and dressed! That body is perfect for her and your crew!

I didn’t find the threads so I added her as a doll profile, she’s near the top at the moment, I added her not too long ago.

What size eyes does your Nymph wear?! I love it- she looks like she’s full of wonder

 

oh wow I have many eyes and really I’m not sure about them. Tomorrow I’ll see if I can measure them correctly.

 

@krystina I posted 3 photos and shared them with you on Flickr. One side of my measurement stick is inches and I believe the other side is mm but it does not say. I did compare cm to that possible mm side and the cm was bigger.
