1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Look what Lox has! It was made by Elegantfeatherduster on Tumblr, who was selling them in human and keychain size. They are 3D printed so it was possible for her to scale them in the proper size. Now I really want an AoA!Loki coat for Lox.

2. Oooh it looks great on him Stella! Lox Agent of Asgard could be awesome. Maybe with a few pictures you could commission someone to make a coat for him:)

3. asdfk;ljsfhjfdga oh that AoA Loki mask is adorable! <33 This entire thread is just a black hole of temptation lately, haha! :chomp:

4. Finally got Loki's suit, tie, shoes etc... together. Now he is just waiting for his scarf and at some stage an overcoat:)

5. Beautiful suit, Kavarr (for a beautiful Doll)

6. Kavarr, your handsome little suited darling will be very pleased with his scarf! Mine just arrived yesterday...so adorable omg (not that Loki would want to hear it put quite like that - he does have a certain reputation to uphold, of course). :D Thank you again for the FYI about that Etsy shop! <33

7. So I 100% chickened out and didn't order the outfit... Though it is still sitting in my watch list as an option.

I started playing with the cosplay material Worbla the other day, and I think I could totally make a helmet for my Loki with it. I may have to try it depending on how much of this material I use for this test item I'm making to play with and see how the material works.

8. Thanks Stella i'm pretty happy with it. His pants are slightly tight (Have to undo the button to sit) but everything else is great and it didn't cost me a small fortune.
Psychobarfly you are lucky mine hasn't shipped yet! I can't wait to see how they turned out.
Ooooh if you do make a helmet Bambistark I would love to see how it goes. I would love to get a helmet for mine. As for the outfits they are taking a while (over a month) so I asked and they estimated early September as they said they had a few they are currently working on.

9. All of your guy's dolls are so handsome T-T

So I made Loki a helmet today~
It’s not 100% done yet, as it needs smoothing and paint still. I used up pretty much all of the sample sheet of worbla that I had for this, but hey, I wont complain.

11. Whoa, that helmet is pretty badass - the proportions look spot on! :D

12. Thank you~
Now I just need to figure out how to sew the rest of his get up. Always been a better prop maker than seamstress. lol

13. Well, I think we might be getting closer to seeing how decent those Loki outfits from eBay actually are, so sit tight and perhaps the impending photospam will convince you! ;) If you were thinking of taking orders on those clever helmets (or even branching out into a matching suite of kingly accessories and armor), I'm guessing that could more or less fund buying your boy an outfit...just think of all the free time you would gain by not having to cobble those damn pieces of faux leather together, haha.

14. Wow, Bambistark, that's amazing. Funny, just this week I heard of Worbla for the first time and here it is again.

15. That helmet looks great bambistark! Like psychobarfly said maybe you could do commissions. I have to go look up this Worbla.

16. Thanks guys. :'3
I gotta get my hands on some more worbla before I can think of making more. It's a type of thermal plastic that's gaining popularity with cosplayers all over. I learned very quickly why. It's so easy to work with and you have virtually no scraps. All the little clippings can be heated up and squished together which is how I made the horns for the little helmet. You can use the entire sheet with no waste, which is good because it's not really a cheap material. Here's the website for more info: http://www.worbla.com/

17. Ooh, I like the sound of this stuff! I had to do a cursory google search on it last night when you mentioned it because this was brand new to me, and all sorts of awesome cosplay projects popped up! How much Worbla did you need to use to craft Loki's helmet?

Seriously, I think you could absolutely make a killing accessorizing everyone's Lokis with helmets and matching pieces of armor...particularly since the fabric armor in the promo pics looked, uh, a little less than realistic lol. Play to your strengths! :D

18. I used most of the little sample sized sheet which is 14" x 9". I'm HOPING I can get down to the local art store in the city on Monday to potentially get a bigger amount. They just recently started stocking it and it's been flying off the shelves fairly quickly. I heard they just got another shipment in so, fingers crossed! If do get a hold of more I'll see if I can make the other little armour bits as well. The details might be hard being so tiny, but that doesn't mean I can't try~

19. Had a look and it looks perfect for making armor etc.... I am now thinking to try some as it would be great to have that armor looking more realistic. I need to read up a lot more. What do you use to heat it up?

20. That's not bad, really - you managed his entire helmet with the smallest size of Worbla available! I have no idea how exactly this stuff works, but if you're able to...microwave it or something and make it pliable enough to carve all the little details and designs in, that would look even more amazing. *_* You were planning to paint the finished product gold, right? Super helpful that the base color of this stuff is already in the right color family. :D
