Discussion of 2007 Unoa Pre-order (Shipped Dec. 2007)

Okay, I'm cautiously optimistic here, I haven't read over the whole thing because I'm really tired and I didn't sleep last night, but.. it looks like the lottery will ONLY be for the parts that are old resin. (ie to match the 1.0 bodies!) (These are ONLY the parts that say "see note 1".) So despite their original note saying it was going to be lottery, it looks like they will try to fulfill orders after all! I'm not 100% sure yet, will read it properly tomorrow AFTER I've slept.

In the meantime, here's the full parts list:

 

This is ONLY for the parts that say "see note 2". The other parts are whichever resin colour they say they are, ie if they say "for 1.5 body" they will match 1.5 resin colour, if they say "for old body" they will match old resin colour. Sorry to be unclear!

No, that's okay, I reread it and I think it was a bit unclear so I changed it a bit to make more sense. I hope that helps! Anyway, there's plenty of parts to match 1.5 bodies, yay!

I'm excited if they DO fill all pre-orders.. I could get some parts for my Unoa boy, yay! "Sist Dozing Face" sounds soooo cute.

P.S. Is anyone else amused that they SPECIFICALLY state that the large bust part is also compatible with the boy body?

 

No, most of the parts are 1.5 I think... just they still have some 1.0 parts left for people! But the 1.0 parts will be by lottery.

 

umm I thought when I read narrow and wide heels it meant the mule soles were the high-heels? but I thought before mules were shoes?

 

The mule part is a pair of soles, not full shoes. There are some tutorials in the Unoa Freak mook on how to make sandals and shoes out of them. The shoe part is a full foot and shoe sculpted together.

Question for the lucky people who received their 1.5 U-noa, did they come with doll stand? Or did they only include doll stand for 1.0 version and not with 1.5 version?

no idea...and why they would have wide and narrow ones....or what they'd look like. Maybe they are high heeled version of the feet? where the shoes don't come off? Funny translation XD

 

First off, I'm so sorry guys, I didn't realise that the 'mule soles' weren't that well known outside of Japan. I see them a lot on Y!JA.. I just translated the name directly.

They're just sole parts that, as someone said, you can make shoes etc from.
(As opposed to the high heel foot parts, which are an entire sculpted foot and shoe.)

To answer other questions:
For any items not specified, I believe they will match 1.5 resin. This is specifically a "5th order" optional parts pre-order, implying that most of the parts are to go with 5th order dolls, who were 1.5. So I think unless it specifically states, it will be 1.5. I think they only specifically stated it for the bust part because I think the mold is actually different and isn't compatible with the 1.0 bodies at all.

The order will be held in "mid to late March" (that basically means somewhere between March 10th and March 30th) and will go for 1 week.

I believe as always Crescent will be handling orders.

Squee, I'm so excited! I'll have to start saving up...

My little girl arrived yesterday and I got her put together today. She needs sanding and a face up but I love her. I got this cute, cute outfit from Staci from Dollwear by Staci. I have tentatively named her Mandy. I adore her!

Are the bodies the same for both Sist and Lusis? Can you share one body between both Sist and Lusis faceplates?

I heard some people do have difficulties with Version 1.0 faceplates not fitting the 1.5 headcaps very well, but with the new face-plates for 1.5 being released, that problem should be solved..

I can't wait to see the new optional parts at Crescent's.. however I love my girls as they are, getting them some boobies (just because) is very tempting ^^

 

This rumour is mearly that: a rumour. My 1.5 girl has the four 1.0 faceplates, and they all fit her without any problem. Some faceplates fits with great ease, and some are a little bit, well, sluggish to get on, but they all fit without difficulty.

Not that it will be an issue after the 1.5 optional parts-release, but still...

 

Hey, guys -- I've changed the name of this thread to make it clearer -- this will be the designated discussion thread, since it's mostly speculation at the moment. When the date of the actual pre-order is announced, it can be posted in the News section.

$470 for doll with large breast part, $430 for doll with small breast part

 

the 1.0 and 1.5 have slightly different colors. from what i know, the 1.5 is a little pinker and the 1.0 a little yellower.
