1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Discussion of 2007 Unoa Pre-order (Shipped Dec. 2007)

Dec 21, 2006

    1. White unoas are NEVER sold in preorders. Never sold except on very rare occassions at shows that Araki (or staff) attends in Japan, and then its pretty rare too they are not always offered at shows and normally only a couple at that time, I have never seen a 1.5 unoa the newer joint unoas in white. I am guessing they have not been sold at any shows for a long time and where only offered as a treat to showcase unoas as a doll when they first created them.

You don't see them come up on Yahoo Japan auction site these days. When they do come up they go for about 2,000 dollars. So the short answer is you can only get them on YJ or on the rare occassion someone sells one here which was no doubt originally bought from YJ.

The 1.0 is lighter in tone than the 1.5 which is currently sold.

    2. Okay guys, I hope sheukwah will forgive me, I have edited her original post to include all the known info about the upcoming pre-orders. Please let me know if I missed anything out, or if there's anything else you think I should include. :) And now, whenever anyone else asks for info in this thread, just direct them to the original post! :dance

    3. I just checked and my Unoa from the lottery cost $35US to ship EMS to the states. She was shipped early February 2007 direct from Crescent. There are shipping fees and such when dealing with auctions, but when it comes to Unoa items directly from Gentaro through Crescent, it's much more straightforward.

    4. EMS Shipping: (Zone#2) US$ 70.00

This was Crescent's shipping fee for 1 Lusis and 1 Sist both with large milk parts, from May 2006.

    5. I live in Europe, and I checked the confirmation I got from Crescent when I ordered my Lusis and Sist back in 2005: EMS Shipping: (Zone#3) US$ 80.00

      EMS for 1 girl should be $35 (Zone#2) or $40 (Zone#3).

    6. My Lusis (from 2005) was total 510$. (with big milk part)
I think it was 40$ for shipping itself for Europe..

    7. My Lusis and Sist shipped from Crescent in March 2007 and the shipping cost together was 6100 Yen from Japan to Seattle. ($54 USD exchange rate) I didn't think that was too bad considering one Blythe costs $25.

    8. Thanks :).

I more just need to work full stop - I'm a student and I don't get state support over the (very long) summer holidays, so it's either a job or running up a massive student overdraft. Which means doll buying is really, really stupid, tho because they're so rare I'll probably buy one unoa anyway and pay everything off once next year's loans come through.

    9. Considering that we're getting the opportunity to purchase the Unoas at original price (plus Crescent fees, of course) instead of the 1K they have been running at a minimum on ebay, I'm quite happy to pay the cost of shipping from Japan. I'll still be saving HUNDREDS of dollars.

    10. is it too late to preorder? i'm not quite sure since others are saying they have paid but it said on page 1 that the preorder period was june...i'd love an unoa *throws plans of buying ds out window*

    11. The pre-order period for the Unoa dolls (Lusis & Sist) is in June.

I believe the people who have paid are talking about the Lottery that was held in January & the Parts order early this year.

    12. with ordering with crescent do you have to pay immediately after you have pre ordered an Unoa?

    13. I'm pretty sure you pay the full amount inc. Crescent fees upfront at the time of order. However, shipping fees aren't paid until Crescent has the dolls in hand.

    14. thank you for replying to me, I have more queries >_> But I was wondering after pre order how long it generally takes for them to be sent out to Crescent, or finished? And is there any tutorial for stringing unoa's because i looked but i didn't come across one.

    15. if I'm not mistaken, the dolls come with stringing instructions.

    16. everything i've got from crescent has been shipped ems. i don't think the prices are better or worse than other companies. ems is worth it, we pay so much for our doll parts it seems best to ship them the safest and fastest way possible.

    17. I don't blame you!!! It seems like it is so rare for them to be available, that when you get the opportunity to jump.... you just jump!!!

I love mine even though I paid waaaaay too much for them. You won't be sorry! :D

    18. just one noob question its just the kits right? If you want to order the kit with extra faceplates you need to go for the parts preorder?

I am thinking about it...it´sd just that I love them to bits but...dunno I´m still waiting for a doll I ordered in early march (yeah^^U) and I don´t have a character in my story that would fit a unoa

      but I know exactly how she´d looK!XD

      we´ll see

    19. That's the thing, I don't have a character for a lusis either, but I just love the soft look to bits. I guess she'll just be like my Juri 06, who will remain just a doll within my collection but not an active member of the big plot.

Can't wait to get my hands on one, so much to do, face-ups, clothes, mods, etc :whee:
