1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Discussion of Souldoll Celestyn 68cm non-gender body

Apr 10, 2006

    1. :sneaky Oh I have just got the wrong idea in my head for this doll.........well now he/she is close to Hounds height.......damn SoulDoll why now.....why?

    2. I was just thinking that myself. It's nice and slender, with very very very gentle curves... I think it's *perfect* and absolutely lovely and pleasing to the eye.

    3. ^^ I know. It's just a gorgeous body. If I got that doll I doubt it would ever be dressed. lol

    4. :) I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't worry about clothes, because I'd make sure hir faceup/body art was exactly what I wanted, and I'd make sure I had exactly the wigs I wanted. I think s/he looks perfectly natural completely naked.

If I did buy clothing, it would be something more masculine than feminine, but still would probably be not much more than some kind of flowing, natural-colored pants.

    5. For the longest time I've been waiting for a new doll that I truely wanted. I feel that this one is it. It's perfect.
I wonder what it looks like unpainted?

    6. The height is perfect! I do hope to see more of these dolls come out in the near future, though I beg to differ. I'm an exlcusively male type of person (that did not sound quite right, but nevermind :P), so I actually prefer them with "it". Not that you will ever see "it" that often, anyway. I suppose it's a psychological thing.

I must say that body art is brilliant! I almost got fooled that the ones on the chest and arms are three dimensional... or is it?

    7. Somebody asked about white skin on the first page. XD Souldoll has made a few other white skinned dolls like Dreamy Painter Neve and Kalavinka.

I'm really impressed by this new doll! I would like to see other heads available for the body, but customizing Celestyn could be really FUN.

    8. I have to say, it is a good thing I am trying to save money AND have no room for a larger doll, because that is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and original! I love the whole fantasy feel of it. It would be awesome to see a sea based one, with mer ears and scales instead of feathers....but still....I am in love :) Hopefully after I move it will still be available!

    9. The first thing that ran through my head when I saw this doll.....was that it reminded me so much of Kimera by Kodaka Kazuma, the same mangaka that did Kizuna.

I love the sculpt of the body, how it can be both masculine and feminine all in one.

    10. No, no quite good indeed! Now I can wait impatiently for your pictures! (hides wallet in safe)

    11. Cripes! I just saw Celestyn and it's freakin' gorgeous!

This doll would be right for Grey's demon form... is it wrong to have two dolls for the same character?:?

Assuming that isn't too nutty, I'd paint it all matte black with a bit of faint gunmetal tracery here and there...ooh. :nosebleed Grey generally doesn't wear clothes when he's in that form, so no extra foofaraw....

No, no, no! I should stop even thinking about it!

    12. Well I'm not scheduled to pay till friday, so he should be in my arms the 1st or 2nd week in may i think? I've already ordered clothes . . . . .

    13. I ordered Celestyn too, but mine will be a girl! A bright carrot redhead with the carved areas bronzed and much lighter eyeshadow and lips.

    14. Oh gosh, this doll is beautiful. >.< my mind if in a whirl because I could easily see him as a her, and her as a him. the sculpt is beautiful and I love the carved head and ears, I'm pretty sure the tattoo is mearly painted which is just as well because I would probally change it. ^^ I'm glad it's not LE! I may want him/her someday. *geeks out and stares at the doll for a while*

    15. Actually according to the description it's a relief, but I think a relatively thin one so it could be sanded off . . . .

    16. I think you need to keep thinking about it. >:3

    17. Well if that's the case I probally will sand... ah crap I'm talking like it's certain.. I'm so in trouble.:)

    18. Dammit! I've found myself thinking about it ALL DAY!

I have to not think about it. I'm on my doll hiatus after all. It already feels like being grounded.:(

    19. Just bought clothes :) I checked measurements and Model bella clothes should fit just right, the pants at least. YAY!
