1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

  1. When they're new and pristine.

  2. When I've had them for a long time.

    1. For me it's about the doll itself. When I first introduce to BJD back in the early 2000's, I fell in love with CP Delf Lishe but couldn't afford her and my family wouldn't hear of spending hundred of dollars for a doll, I kept admiring her and wanting her so bad, through time I haven't forgotten her and move on.

Until 2011 I came around a sale post of a 2008-9? yellowed beauty white nude Lishe with eyes and wig for sale (asking too much) but with the most beautiful factory face up I have ever seen, I fell in love again and just have to have her! I finally persauded my family and she came home to me just before Christmas and I adore her and spoiled her so.

It's strange to talk about feeling on a doll, but this Lishe is something different, she is my grail doll and she hold a very special place and dear in my heart. She may be a old sculpt, yellowed and cost a lot but she is well worth it!:aheartbea

    2. It's all about the doll. My little Narae MSD head has been very difficult in terms of getting her a matching body. She's a very odd shade of tan. She's almost a caramel beige color. Either she almost immediately yellows to the point of being that color, which I think is likely given a good sanding initially revealed a basically RS colored NS (and she fit perfectly on a RS body for a while) or she was some odd shade of tan to begin with. Doesn't matter which. A few months later and she's back to being that color regardless of what I do. All the sanding I did was for naught apparently. Short of spray painting her which I can't do she's going to be that odd color apparently and no affordable body I can find is going to match her very well for long. For all that I'm pretty attached to her and would not sell her. I also have two heads that I basically ruined color-wise by accidentally using high gloss sealer then trying to clean it off with W&N paint brush cleaner. The only way I am going to get those dolls looking nice again is to do some kind of major paint work on them, or dye them again. Would I sell those two. Nope. They're not perfect but I like them. They're pretty unique dolls and I will make them look great again...
