Do not open before Christmas!

I order my own dolls, no one else will, so I don't have to wait. But at the rate the two incoming are taking, they might be here at Christmas!

 

My F60 Rona is supposed to be guaranteed to ship by Dec. 13, so she should get here just before Christmas. My fiance paid for half of her as a Christmas present to me, so I have to wait until Christmas to open her!
I will instruct him on opening the box to check for damages etc before he wraps her up though, don't want to take any chances there. I really hope she actually gets here before Christmas, I'm so worried about that XD

 

My doll was ready a few weeks ago, and I checked him to be sure he was ok, and my husband let me go on and blush him so he's ready for play the minute I open him, but he had to go back into the box. However, tomorrow night, he's finally all mine!! I've been good! If I can make this last 24 hours. :P

 

I am always good and wait till Christmas day My husband checks them when they arrive, then wraps.
This year, I just hope she makes it in time. Everything is crossed!

 

My Christmas dolls arrived last week and it's killing me that I can't open them. It's harder to wait knowing they are in the house than it was waiting for them to arrive. >_<

For my birthday, late august, I made the deposit on an Alberta and the first payment and half the next. But complications happened so my dad stepped in and finished paying it off on the condition it goes under the tree. My student refund came in from my college and he got his portion of the money back. So at this point, I've paid for Alberta myself.

Yep, under the tree. My parents were kind enough to look her over and they finally confirmed with me to that she's in prefect condition. And now I am literally arms distance from my doll, that I paid for. But guess what! They managed to convince the cat that believes she is a dinosaur to sit on the box. So I don't even have the option to peep.


So, I have to wait till Xmas for my birthday present. and I don't the option to peep
But I love how excited they are so I'm fine with waiting another month

 

Definitely! I always get myself a doll for Christmas but it's usually closer to the actual holiday. This time I found what I was looking for early & so bought it while I could. I haven't even taken the doll out of the packing box & am trying to figure out how to wrap such a big box. It's going to be a long month... But Christmas morning will make up for it.

 

No. I will get a huge box of 6 tan dolls from Fairyland in the next week or two. I could try to keep them closed until Christmas but that would be such a torture after all these months of waiting that I will rip them open as soon as they arrive

 

Aaaah I don't know what I'd do... if it were a layaway, I'd probably leave it til Christmas, seeing as I'd already waited long enoughto finish the layaway, so yeah. But if it were a doll I'd bought outright (not layaway, I mean) I'd be opening it as soon as I got my paws on it. I have no self control when it comes to dolls.

 

Uh, no, lol, I'm not nearly that patient and besides I like to put any new dolls I get for the holidays under my little tree as a display preferably in holiday clothes if I have them to fit. Can't do that if they are still stuck in a box...

 

never had a doll as a gift and I don't have enough self control to put a doll that I've paid for under the tree. That's just torture! I could do it this year because I have one incoming now, but no... I'm pretty sure I'll be opening it as soon as it arrives!

I keep stealing my dolls and secretly playing with him, then putting him back before anyone notices! That's what's gonna happen until he's wrapped up!

 

I bought a doll for myself for Christmas, but I don't think I can wait at all. He should be here on Friday. I've plan to do his face up and tattoos on Saturday.

 

new doll: duh, no, opening right away (check for breakage etc)
second hand doll: i'd be ok with waiting to open, sure :3 i did that for my birthday XD tho honestly, the items were lost in my post office (had been missdelivered i guess) until the day of my birthday so i didnt have a choice XDDD BUT that being said, i think i could manage it as long as the items were second hand (unless shipped via FEDEX, i had my bobobie order arrive broken due to the way fedex threw around the boxes)

 

There is a doll under the bed until Christmas -- he was opened and checked and then back he goes. Since husband buys dolls for me, guess he can wrap it and put it under the tree. However there is another one coming, and that one will be mine upon arrival!

 

My parents bought me a Mystic Kids Verdin for Christmas this year and she got here yesterday. I had to open her up to make sure she wasn't broken, right?

 

I was planning on spending my Christmas money on a doll, and she was going to be my Christmas doll... Well, she still is going to be my Christmas doll! But now I'm hoping to buy her soon enough for her to arrive before Christmas and have my family wrap her box up and hide it from me until Christmas morning so I can open it with my other presents! But I will need my family to hide the box until then because otherwise I couldn't wait five minutes.

 

I don't have this problem, by the time my Christmas giftdolls are ready to arrive to me it will be in January.

 

Last time I bought a doll for Christmas and the package actually made it before Christmas was four years ago but somehow I was able to stop myself from opening it. Mostly when I order a gift for myself, birthday or Christmas, they never make it on time so, it's not a problem. I just open the package whenever I get it. I just ordered a doll as a Christmas gift but its going to be around March when I get her... xD
