Do you change your doll's wigs and eyes?

1. Do you change his/her wigs/eyes frequently or do you settle on one combination after you've found out about you're dolls personality?

First of all, I'm a lazy one to change anything.
But sometimes I buy a new wig, or outfit, or shoes, etc.
And sometimes, I feel bored with his/her current wig, or outfit, or shoes, etc.
So I occasionally change their stuffs from head to toe.

2. Have you changed the look of you're doll and fell out of love with him/her?

Erh, no, I have not & I hope never.
I always love my dolls' look, even though I change this and that...

3. How many dolls do you own compared to the amount of wigs and eyes you have?

Right now I have 2 floating heads and 2 full dolls.
I have around 10 wigs and 5 pairs of eyes for them.
And still adding more items... >.<

I change their wig and eyes every time I change their outfit.

nope. If I don't like how they look I just change them.

I have like four time as many wigs and eyes as I do dolls. you can never have to many wigs!

 

1) I usually settle for one wig and one pair of eyes. It took me a while to settle on my girl's style and look I wanted but I got there! The other dolls I didn't have that hard of a time styling them and finding perfect wigs and eyes.

2) Yes, I almost sold my first girl because she was having a bit of an identity crisis. But I didn't give up on her and found the most perfect combination!!~

3)Dolls i've bought total are 9 going to be 10 soon. I've bought around 6 or 7 wigs and maybe about 4 or 5 pairs of eyes? I can't really remember because I'm down to 4 dolls right now and with the dolls i've sold they were sold with their pair of eyes. So I can't really say. But each doll I have wears one selected wig, and one pair of selected eyes. I keep extras just in cause I get someone new and don't have time to make a character for him/her

I try to find a wig/eyes that are the doll's default wig and eyes, that I think suits them the best and a secondary look as well. I change wigs more than eyes. I usually have 2-3 wigs I like for each of my dolls, and they're usually not like each other. My vampire Florian goes either red-headed or black-headed and I like him equally well each way.

No. If the wig/eyes don't suit, I just change them. I don't blame the doll. I will occasionally change eyes and wig for a special occasion that I wouldn't ordinarily use for a doll-for instance, Fauna, who is usually red-haired and blue-eyed went lavendar-haired and gold-eyed to be a Valentine Fairy.

3. How many dolls do you own compared to the amount of wigs and eyes you have?

Oh, this is embarrassing! I just counted...

SD/Supergem dolls-four. 8/9-9/10 wigs-thirty-two.
MSD/Tiny dolls-five. 6-7 wigs-twenty-seven. Obviously, I need to buy more wigs for the little guys!

I'm not quite so bad about eyes-I've currently got nine dolls and nine extra pairs of eyes. But I just bought two more pairs and I'm looking to acquire more.

- I have a few wigs, but I found I only change hairstyles. I would probably change the eyes as well, but I only have one pair of eyes.

- I found out that my love for my doll is instantly renewed with a change in wardrobe.

- I have one doll, two wigs, and one set of eyes. xD;

I play around with colors and styles until I find one that really clicks, then I tend to stay with those eyes and that color of wig. I like to have more than one style for each of my boys so I don't wear the wigs out so quickly or get bored. n.n

2. Have you changed the look of your doll and fell out of love with him/her? Actually, in the case of Candide (My Migidoll Noel) changing his look made him really... become real to me. I originally had him with blue eyes and long, brown hair but on a whim I changed them to pale green eyes and a short, light blonde wig and it was perfect! So I kept him that way. n.n

3. How many dolls do you own compared to the amount of wigs and eyes you have? At the moment, a few more wigs than dolls but less eyes. >_< I'm still in the process of finishing everyone. (Seven dolls, five pairs of eyes, and ten wigs.)

I settle on one combination after I've found out the right look for my doll. Sadly, for some this takes quite a while (and a lot of wig/eye changes)! I don't really like changing them around. Also for some reason they end up looking a little like the company's promo pics...

Yes. Once I got the right eyes/wig though, I fell right back in love... haha, it was weird...!

Seeing the amount of wigs and eyes that others have, I don't feel quite as bad! My ratio is currently 2~3 wigs per doll. It's fun to change their hair style sometimes for different looks. The eyes I don't ever change once I've settled on them, because I'm lazy. So I have a bunch of unused eyes... but they're nice to keep handy.

It depends on the doll. Some dolls I like to change their eyes more frequently than others. Changing eyes and wigs are really a part of Max's personality/character, but only within a certain style. I can't go outside of that or he ceases to look like Max.

I have never fallen out of love with any of them based on changing thier look. Though Max isn't Max if he doesn't wear his typical wigs/eye/clothing combination.

I have a few extra pairs of eyes, and Max has 2 wigs, though I plan to add to that count. One can never have too many eye changes! So, 1 doll, 1 floating head, and 5 anthros.

 

I dont have a spare set of eyes but i do have wigs, i would change for fun

Depending to my mood. But now I have two combinations of eyes+wig for my doll. And I'm planing for another one.

Nope. I thin I'm fallen in love with my boy even more than ever. Each of hes looks shows me new side of Cloud. This feeling is so deep, so I gave to each of looks (including clothes, not only wig+eyes) their own names XD So I have three dolls in one XD

Now I have only one BJD ^^ But I have (for now) two wigs and about 4 pairs of eyes for him XD

I like to change the wig and eye style but I like to leave the colors alone. ^^ Audrie is supposed to have Pink hair and bright green eyes. [she doesn't have them yet, but I'm getting them soon!]

Nope! The first wig I got for Audrie was a blonde/cream color and I can't wait to change it! She is also wearing blue eyes and they don't suit her at all!

I will be having a couple different pairs of eyes and different wigs [They're on the way to me right now. ^^;;]. but I only have 1 doll. ^^

 

I actually change out my dolls' eyes and/or wigs quite often. In fact, two of my dolls' characters are kitsune, who's hair change from red to silver, and back again, as the seasons change.

Sometimes I'm just curious to see what my dolls will look like with different hair/eyes, sometimes I just want to test out a size and see if I like it better, or if a wig I'm not sure of the size will fit. Other times, I'm feeling really snarky or bored, and just play around with combinations until I find one I like, or find one that is just so terrible it makes me laugh.

I've never fallen out of love with my dolls just because of a change of wigs or eyes. If I don't like a certain combination, or feel it doesn't work, I can always go back to the one I like.

 

I love it when you can change your dolls eyes and wigs. I once just tried my new eyes to my doll (planned to my future doll) and I just fell in love with her again! It was perfect, so much better than old ones and I'm gonna keep those for now.

There is nothing wrong with changing wigs and eyes, because it's not a difficult and permanent change, you can always change the old ones back if you like. It can be quite fun actually to play with hairstyles.

I still need more wigs to my dolls, I think I'm going to change wigs quite a lot maybe, but eyes are something very important to my characters, and I'm not going to change those so often.

I change my Kid Delf's eyes and wigs all the time. Different combinations are fun!! ^^

I do have some eyes that just arn't my girl's style but with the right wig they look very nice.

For my Kid Delf i have four wigs and three pairs of eyes! LOL

I change wigs and eyes frequently when I'm in the mood to play with my dolls. Their features settle down when I'm too busy to play.

Switching all the time has made me appreciate how versatile these dolls are. @_@ I've yet to give them a look I really hate.

I have two dolls (and a head) and 8 wigs and 8 pairs of eyes.

I haven't changed my doll's hair and eyes since I bought the ones I wanted for him. He came with a random wig and eyes. It's been almost a year since I got him. I just bought a wig from someone here and he is going to share it with my other doll that is not home yet. I myself change my hair a lot so I don't think it's bad to change my doll's wig.

Never. I have given him 5 face-ups. The one he has now is for winter. I may or may not change it anytime soon. I'm not sure yet. I'm terrible at giving characters personality, so I can't decide how he should look. I did want him to be like a snow or ice elemental.

I will own two dolls as soon as I get my second doll. And when I get my new wig, I'll have 4 wigs. I have 3 pairs of eyes.

for me one of the biggest appeals of these dolls was their ability to change so i change mine lots. they are models for the clothes i make so their appearance changes to suit what they wear

no, it would be easy enough to change again

i don't know the exact numbers but way more wigs and several more eyes than dolls

I've only changed it once, however I do plan on buying different styles and lengths eventually. Even real people change so it's natural for your doll to change slightly throughout time as well!

Absolutely not! As soon as I bought the new blonde wig for him I loved him even more. It suited his personality more than the brown did.

I only have one doll as of now. Waiting on my next two. However I own two wigs, for one doll!

My boy had a character role before he came home, so I had to look for a wig specifically that fit his character. As for the eyes, they had to be black where the whites are and have the appearance of fire in the center (believe it or not they actually have those specific eyes at Dollmore). Once I found the wig and eyes, that was that!

I was scared to change what he came with! I knew that I would be changing everything, what with getting him blank and all. Still, it was unnerving! But I absolutely love how he looks ( so much like the beloved character he is ). I could never fall out of love with him.

I always change something on my dolls, like in real life i change my hair by cut/color, use colored contacts and wear always clothes ^^

A LOT of everything ^^ Especially AKANDO has 7 Wigs for himself ^^
