Do you change your doll's wigs and eyes?

1. Do you change his/her wigs/eyes frequently or do you settle on one combination after you've found out about you're dolls personality?
I try to mix it around from time to time, but I do try to keep it somewhat constant so he doesn't have an identity crisis.

2. Have you changed the look of you're doll and fell out of love with him/her?
XD nope. I love my two little tots.

3. How many dolls do you own compared to the amount of wigs and eyes you have?
-counting- He's got a lot of wigs...
She's got a lot of eyes. :3

 

I like to change my dolls' wigs.....not the eyes though.....after all you cannot change your eyes, right? But hair style can change...

I don't have too many options as of right now but would be happy changing his hair or eyes frequently as long as I kept to his designated color scheme. Customizing doesn't have to change a doll's character, just think within the realm of the doll's personality and you can actually expand their nature.

Anything I've ever changed about my doll made my love him more

One doll, one wig, and two pairs of eyes.

It depends of the doll itself.. I usually decide a combination.. especially for the eyes.. maybe I've more wigs to change the style.. but the eyes are the same..
Unless the character is not fantasy or magic. etc...

I thought once.. when I decided to sell my first doll.. cause I didn't bond with her.. so I thought that a change of look changed the situation.. and for few days more I liked her.. but then i understood the problem wasn't her style or look..

Every doll can maybe have 2 wigs, usually only a pair of eyes.. 2 for some dolls who have double personality..

 

My two girls have their set looks so I don't think I will change their hair color and eyes. However, if I come across a wig in the same shade that's a different style I might use it if I really liked it.

I haven't changed Kori's eyes yet (though I've thought about it) but I have changed his wig a few times. I like seeing the different looks on him. I think of it in the way that, since I change my hair a lot -he should too. I don't do it with my other two though, they're set in stone characters so they'll keep the same looks.

Right now I have two pairs of eyes for three dolls (only Paris & Kori have eyes) and 3 wigs (2 for Kori and 1 for Paris). I hope to get Robin's eyes/wig once I find the right ones and maybe a couple of more wigs for Kori to play around with. I don't think I'd be able to stand having a multitude of them though when I only have 3 dolls at the moment.

Well my girl is a character of mine, and I knew she had to have red hair and vivid green eyes. When I ordered her wig and eyes I was worried that the eyes weren't going to be the right color. When actually getting them I found they are just what I wanted, right now she has gold eyes cause I don't get her eyes until christmas. Her Wig was a dark red that was curly... I should of gotten something else. Right now I'm on the hunt for the dream red wig, she's now wearing a brown wig I got from a meet that I took her to.

oh no, cause I know she will have what she needs very soon.

Well I have one doll and she had two wigs, two eyes, and me wanting to get her another wig and another set of eyes (Purple this time for her not so better half)

Yes. Kotori has like... 7 wigs. Everyone else has 2. I finally finally settled on having Kotori's eyes and hair color be blue-green eyes, and cream colored hair. This makes wig buying alot easier.

Kind of but not really. I'd say usaully when they get new stuff I'm pretty happy with the new combination of clothing wig or eyes.

More wigs then dolls. Its just much easier to purchase more wigs then purchase more dolls. I have 13 wigs! I never noticed that before... I have 4 1/2 dolls as of right now.

 

It all depends on the doll really. I have a few that change hairstyles / eyes quite frequently and others that do not at all. But that's because of the characters they're supposed to represent. If it's part of the OC to change his / her haircut on a regular basis for example, I'll get them a bunch of wigs. If they don't, I won't. (Or at least not, until I found one or two that fit perfectly)
In general, I have way more wigs and eyes in all colours and sizes than I do have dolls though. A good portion is rarely or not at all used but I had to have them for one reason or another <_<

My Bluebell had two wigs and I'm fine with the second...I mean, I don't need to find another one if that's ok for me and the eyes...She has the random ones because I liked more that eyes than the eyes I wanted UxD

Yes I do, and I'm doing now xD I just bought a wig for my Neils and I want to change his personality too ^^ I think it could be better for him

I only have 2 dolls, 3 wigs and 4 pairs of eyes ^^U I changed the eyes of Neils for a blue ones but I didn't like it and he still having his brown ones

 

Sarah has had 3 different wigs and 2 sets of eyes-the girl don't know what she likes lol
Syrinx, Ivy, and Lily have had 2 wigs each

yup, i love to experiment with different eye positionings and change up the colors of boththe eyes and wigs.

 

Only one of my dolls have I changed the wig on (because he's the only one with more than one) And I experiment with making and changing the eyes of my first doll often. I don't have an issue with it as I know I can always put them back if I don't like the change.
You could look at it this way, people change their hair and put in contacts all the time, it's about the same thing.

I am still working on getting the right wig/eyes for my Kaelyn. I would like to settle on one wig eye combination.

Not so far. I only have one doll but even with the wigs I don't think look good on her it didn't make me love her less.

I only have the one doll but I have 3 wigs and two sets of eyes and I still haven't settle on the eyes yet >.< My problem is until I actually see the whole thing together it's hard to know what's just right.

 

I'm on constant lookout for new doll eyes and wigs just in case the perfect one pops out from somewhere. (Usually I just have one pair of everything for my doll and never change them.)

But until then they stay in the same eyes and wigs I've decided to put on them. But some dolls are different (and difficult...), they need new character designs and new eyes etc right about whenever possible. Mostly I stick up with the ones I've chosen already. ^^ I have lots of wigs and eyes left from my previous dolls when I've sold them, must get rid of them sometime when I have the time...

I like to set her to just one combination because I feel like its the same with naming a doll. you wouldn't change around the name of a doll everytime it wore something new, right? I think its okay to change the wig or eyes every once in a while if you want a different look or doing it to match a certain outfit but I personally like to keep it stable so my girl can have more of a signature look, if that makes sense.
I admire people who can change it all the time though! sounds expensive Dx

Oh, I only own 1 girl but have 2 wigs for her and 1 set of eyes(:

3. How many dolls do you own compared to the amount of wigs and eyes you have? Eyes I have a ton of, even my boyfriend raids my eye collection for his Halloween/horror obsession. Wigs more than enough usually, probably a 5/1 ratio.

I do not change his wigs and eyes frequently yet. Once I figure out my doll personality I will change my dolls eyes and wig.

Personally I don't change their eyes or wig because my dolls are original characters of mine.

That hasn't happened to me since I love the way they look currently, but if it did I would change it to something new.

I only have one full doll and 2 floating heads... and one wig for each, and the same goes for eyes. C:
