  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. No I don't really collect photos of dolls, but when I (rarely) see a nice faceup then I must save that picture to try it out myself someday.. ;)

    3. Sure! I save around 40+ BJD pictures a day.
      I got about 2000mb saved on my comp! ^^ (and they're all backed up on disc too in case the comp dies :sweat)

    5. Ohhh yeah I do. I love saving photos! I still have some that I saved back in 2004 when I first found out about BJDs, looking at them makes me feel really nostalgic. I finally hit 1,000 saved photos, lol T_T I had to make folders for each company, and then subfolders for each sculpt, because otherwise they'd never be orgainzed XD

    6. Yes. I usually try to include the owner's user ID and the name that they gave the doll for reference and credit. If that's not possible, I just save as the original file name.

    7. Omg I do this... when I switched computers I went to transfer my BJD folder and it was a little over 9GB... and that was when I still had dial-up and had a really old computer... lol

    9. I do it, I have a folder full of pictures with not just dolls, but clothes, accessories, faceups, etc. I usually write down who did the clothes/faceups etc and who the owner is so I don't forget if I ever try to search for that doll again or want to commission an artist.
      Photography is an aspect I really like of this hobby so naturally I save LOADS of pictures.

    10. I constantly do this! But then again, I think I pretty much hoard every picture I come across online. Although BJDs tend to fill up most of my files. I've been doing it for quite a few years so I have well over 1000 pictures. Whenever I need to do a new faceup and want to try something different I'll go through the folders and look for a new shape of eyebrows or color combo or something like that. My folder is sooo unorganized though! I have one for artist made dolls and one for company dolls, and one for heavily modded dolls, that's about it...

    14. aww that's cool that others do this too, yes i do it too.
      i save the picture as "moldname of username.jpg" so for example if i would save one of my Louis i would save the pic as "Hound of annina.jpg".
      that way i can remember who the owner is.

      and yes i have also saved some company pics, mostly of dolls i buy as a form of cataloging how they were presented by the company.

    15. uh huh. If I see any pictures that blow me away, I save them just so I can admire them later. It's not that I'm trying to snatch them, I just want to be able to see them again.

    16. Before I decided to get my cp Miyu I saved every single picture of her I could find just to see what she looked like in various styles. I ended up with a folder that had hundreds of pics of her and now that I have my own Miyu it just keeps getting bigger. Will also soon need a separate folder for my Narae 43cm pics (have a feeling she will be my next doll;))

    18. I save photos occasionally if I really like the doll, especially if it's one in the Marketplace that I like and didn't buy because I couldn't afford it or someone beat me to it. I don't have tons and tons of BJD photos because I only get "grabbed" by one occasionally, but I do enjoy the ones I saved.

      I don't know about the big book thing. I think it would be terribly difficult to figure out whose to include as we all have such different tastes.

    19. I actually save a lot of photos of things...I have photos from shows I watch, and of bands I like and of course, dolls. Some official and some of dolls other people own. I have them all in one folder and organized and use them all for my computer screensaver. I love looking at pretty pictures and I found out I had so many pictures just sitting I thought it would be nice to get to see them always heh. My screensaver is already at 2.5gigs of pictures!! The bjd section is growing a lot lately....that's what I get for helping my friends find dolls haha

    20. Yes. I save lots! I have separate folders for faceup and clothing inspirations, too.

      When a sculpt attracts my attention, I go to the gallery and search for photos of it. A lot of times that way I find gems I missed earlier. But I'm also getting to that point where I have to organize the photos and make sure I save it with the photographer's name and/or mold name because otherwise it's a huge mess.
