Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.     1. I save pictures all the time. whenever I feel the need to increase my photo folder I hope over to the Gallery board and save a dozen or so pictures of some BJDs I think are pretty, or I like the pose or even if I just like the way the photograph was taken.

      I use the pictures as image references for my own work whether it be photography or drawing.

      But sometimes I just think they're pretty n_n

    2. i used to- when i was trying to work out what sort of personality for him to have i collected pictures of dolls and clothes i saw on the forum that interested me- not with the intent to copy them, but get the thoughts of why i liked their style clear in my mind.

    3. Oh yes I definitely collect photos! There are just so many that are just too incredible that I'd hate it if I could never have a glimpse of them again so I make sure to save here and there. Also, sometimes, it can be hard to remember every place you've seen a spectacular photo so I try to save the pic just in case I can't find it again.

      Maybe I'm just too lazy to do that, but if there's any extremely great shot, I'd like to save it to my hard drive.:)

      I have a notebook I keep all my BJD related things in: dolls & prices, wishlist, Lists of supplies I still need...

      I also have a section where I put the dolls I like and plan to get oneday (maybe) in there. Its neat, and I can show people examples of my hobby anywhere I go :)

      Several positive reactions from friends who were kinda weirded out at the thought lol.

    6. I don't save many photos, only those that really stand out to me.
      Usually when I save, I rename the file to the doll owner's name or the doll name so I can keep track of them :3

    7. Are you kidding? lol. I have TONS... TONS. I have folders and subfolders, and sub-subfolders because otherwise everything is so jumbled up and I like order (at least on the computer. I'm not very orderly otherwise).

      update: this is really sad, but I almost have 1 GB of pics in my "BJD" folder

    8. Yes, XD Mostly I save ones I find the most beautiful--due to photography and/or dolls, or face ups I love. I also save images of clothing I've fallen for XD I also save pictures of my friend's BJDs when they post them, or when they send them to me =D

      However, there is one person on DoA who I have saved almost every single photo they have taken of their dolls...who that is...I will not say XD (Okay, not REALLY but I bookmark their threads XD)

      I really only save them so I can skim through them later and create puddles of drool on my desk created by shock and envy XD

    9. I just started to gather up a picture collection of peoples' dolls here on DoA. I've got everything from dolls riding on vacuums to some of the prettiest outfits and face-ups I've ever seen. :3

    10. Years ago, I collected photos from the web, but that was before I know about BJDs. Now I don't collect photos of any kinds. I find it easy enough to search them through the web and don't want to waste hard drive space. When I find a picture I like, I would set it as wallpaper though.

    11. Using a photo as your wallpaper is a pretty good idea. Personally, I don't collect BJD photos. I bookmark/favorite loads of things though.

    12. I save photos as my collection and I snap lotsa pictures of doll from other doll owners when meet up. I tend to make a book for it. XD Well just a hope that can be succeed. Its sort of a collection BJDs picture I took for all this while. My folder all mess up... guess i need to re organized again.

    13. I definitely save images I really love. My folders get too big for my computer to store, so I end up going back and deleting the folders and starting fresh. It's like an endless cycle.

      I usually have folders for individual dolls - For instance, I've always got a "Dollzone Tan Yuu" or "Dollshe Hound" folder somewhere in my computer. But sometimes I'm not so specific, and I have folders for all Bobobie Tinies, or Puki Pukis, or Dollfie Dreams.

      I have folders of everything I love, actually. Right now I'm working on my fighting game folders, and organizing those. I'm dumping them all on Photobucket in organized albums so when I have to delete the folders on my computer, I'll still have the images somewhere. I should do the same thing for dolls and other things I save pictures of, like anime figures and my favorite animals, but it's hard to motivate myself to do so much organizing. I'm not a very organized person sometimes.

    19. I have a folder on my desktop that i add picture into.
      Lots of theme are dolls i want, or outfits that i like, or a pose i want to try.
