Do you collect PHOTO's of BJD's?

I had waaaayyyyyyy too many before my computer crashed. Now I only save my absolute faves and ones I want to refer to in the future. That leaves me with about 100 pics so far, lol!

 

I save them, but just for personal use obviously. I don't save a whole lot, but if I see a stunning photo that I'll want to look at over and over again, I'll save it. I also like to "collect" owner photos of BJDs that I want or own. It's nice to refer back to them and see what other people have done with them and what it looks like.

 

I definitely collect photos. I see one I like and it's 'right-click save as' everytime.
I need to go through them though x_____x I have like 200 oTL;

 

I do as well. I have about 600 photos saved in my folder, but then there's also other folders filled with pictures of other bjd related things. I keep them because I like to refer back to them if there was something I liked about that particular bjd whether it was it's clothing or it's faceup or it's hair. I use the pictures to help me come up with the characteristics I want my own doll to have. That and I also just really like looking at the pictures!! I sometimes photoshop them for fun too, but I don't post them up anywhere or anything. I also sometimes photoshop them to see what a doll would look like if I changed it's eyes or it's hair color. Fun stuff like that.

 

I do. Mostly they're my own or my friends' dolls, but there are tons of Bermann photos thrown in ^^a;
They're for my own personal viewing pleasure, but I have had some taped up in my locker before.

 

I have been collecting for about three years and I wish I collected more of company pictures because some companies take down their old photos which I really like. T_T

 

I do it. I save pictures of dolls I like but wont buy, just because they look nice. I also save them so show others, who ask about them, the diversity of the BJD world.

 

I save the ones I really like for use as desktop wallpapers, so they are only for my personal use and enjoyment .

 

I too collect photos, but seldom keep them for long, it's more of I wish I could photograph that well, or I wish I had that doll or outfit, but love to look!

 

Its funny this came up. Lately I have been dreaming of my new gotta save for doll and I really want a certain faceup. So I have been collecting photos of dolls (same or simular mold) I like. For example I like this ones brows but I like that ones lips and so on. I am hoping by the time I get my doll I will have an idea of what I want her to look like and hopfully find someone to do it for me because I suck.
Plus there are some really incredibley beautiful dolls out there that I don't need to own but I like to look at because they are so beautiful.
Oh, and some peoples photos are just awesome. Again mine suck.

Now I'm just rebuilding, really. It's always fun to look at beautiful BJDs people have..

 

I love collecting photos of dolls. Sometimes I get my inspiration for characters from a dynamic face-up or gorgeous wig that I see. Also, I enjoy being able to look at the sheer flexibility of some molds(especially shiwoos).

 

I do have pictures of my own dolls and their outfits, i don't have nor collect pictures of other people's dolls and their outfits. Whilst i have no issue with people collecting pictures of other people's BJD's, even if the person has posted the pics on DOA, it's always good to check with the person and make sure you have their permission before collecting the pictures of their doll(s) and/or outfit(s). I probably wouldn't mind if someone wanted to collect photo's of my bjd but would rather they asked me first and if i said no i'd hope that would understand and respect my decision.

 

Usually I save them if it's a mold that I'm interested in or I simply find beautiful. They help me decide later if some plans of buying dolls arise.

Yes, I do! I really like pretty pictures, so I have many of them.
Oh, and I have one picture book!

 

I save pics to my computer of dolls that I like thier hair, or face ups or clothing..as inspiration for what I want to do with my first doll when I get her.

Not outright copying another doll of course...but more of inspiration for a general look.

 

I have some that I've squirreled away as reference pictures; either for their clothes or their faceups, or just because they're *pretty*. Lately I've been stashing WS boys faceups...'cause my boy was intended as NS, but is not, and I've found giving him a faceup I like trickier than I'd thought, pallette-wise.

 

yes I do, but I've got too much, sometimes I can't find what I want.

I have a big folder containing lots of BJD photos in my computer!!! Sometimes, I will print it out and keep it in my pocket XD
