Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. I have named 2 dolls on my wishlist. DOT Sha is Dorian and Dollndoll Mo is Audrina. Though I feel that I will be changing Audrina soon. Naming them helps me with my story and makes me excited to get them.

    4. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I don't make OCs so I don't use dolls to "shell" anyone, I just pick dolls whose sculpts I really love. Most of my dolls have been named after I got them, but I did recently decide what I'm going to name the doll I have on layaway (Impldoll Azalea--- her name is Margo) and I do know what I'm going to call the last two dolls on my wishlist, as well. I think that's because I've had them as planned purchases for long enough that I've just had enough time for names to come to me. Or at least that's true of the Supia Muriel I have planned, whose name will be Cassie. For the Iplehouse Bibiane, it's a little different-- I'd wanted a Bibiane because she was just a sculpt I'd loved since I first discovered BJD, but then I decided she'd make a perfect doll-version of my favorite Skyrim character, so her name will be Annika after my warhammer-wielding Nord lady. :)
      After that I think my wishlist is mostly done!

    5. The one I ordered and the one in wishlist have already a name XD...

      I've got names even for two dolls I'm still deciding if the sculpts I want are the ones I have in the "probable" list right now XD...

      I can't wait to meet Emma ^^

    7. Every doll on my wishlist has a name, but that's because they're shells for pre-made characters. I once put a doll on my wishlist without it being a shell for a pre-made character but I immediately gave it a name. It doesn't feel good if the doll has no name.

    8. Absolutely. I won't purchase a doll if he or she doesn't have a ready made character, and thus a name. Plus it's an added bonus that I can think of them in terms of who they are going to be, instead of just a random doll that happens to look pretty. Currently two are in a minor state of flux however as the characters are identical twins but I'm purchasing two different (albeit very similar looking) sculpts for them, so I intend to wait until the heads are home before deciding which one is Ezekial and is which is Atreyu.

    9. The dolls I pick need to be suitable for a character I have. So yes...I name them. That way...I know what dolls have been "tentatively" shelled.

    11. Very frequently, yes. Most dolls that come home here are to fill a role.

      There are a handful who were so compelling that I needed to have them home with me, and the characters would come later. (This happens frequently for limiteds.)

    15. What an interesting discussion! To contribute at random...on my old wishlists, I didn't name any, I figure because I was mostly convinced I'd never get one :< but now that it's a real possibility, I have named one, a weird little Doll Chateau blend for whom a name just kind of popped up in my head.
      Yet in the meantime, I haven't even thought of a name for the (part of a) doll I'll hopefully be getting soon...hehe. Oops! I'm crossing my fingers that's not a bad sign.

    17. Absolutely, every doll in my wishlist has a name, a personality and even a story!
      Mostly because I usually choose sculpts after I have a doll idea.
      But even the ones I have loved the sculpt before thinking of a character end up having name and everything.

    20. On my wish list yes because these are characters I have. For my character Desiree is the Luts Delf Mia, and the Island doll full set Loki will be Puck but don't know if that counts because in my story they are the same person...
