1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do you ever name the dolls on your dolly wishlist?

May 31, 2013

    1. Hahaha I do, I thought about of names od my dolls before I buy it hahah
      Well,
      Switch sohwa - Vincent
      soom chalco - Jade

    2. I usually wait to name them when I see them in person, helps me think what will suit them well!

    3. Yes, but is more because the character already have a name and not much because the doll.

    4. i named a SWITCH Sohwa as Milhwa lol i like that name so badly

    5. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, it depends of the doll. If I already have an idea of its character, I try to find it a name before buying them.
For example, I want to buy a Harlan from l'Armoire de Dandan and I'd like to name it Abigaelle.
I wish a Nabarro Wally too, but as there is little chance I finally get one, I'm not going to name him.

    6. This for me too. If a doll goes on my wish list then I try to figure out which of my characters would best suit that doll otherwise I feel like I shouldn't get them since I have so many characters already to dollify.

    7. I have a MNF/Unoa hybrid on my wish list but I'm torn between several names for her. *_* I like the name Rheia, but that would be weird, since it's a name of a FL sculpt.

    8. Right now I plan on naming my Nocturne Soren and Dune Zen, but those plans could always change when I see them.

    9. I usually do, since most on my wishlist have a character they're shelling. But even then the plans could change since I have a fickle mind :sweat

    10. I automaticaly name my dolls ! It helps me to make her mine.
Often, they have there name when I clic on "order" button xD

      I had :
      Sachiko (Pullip Clarity custo)
      Kiriya (Taeyang Tantus custo)
      Myrrha (Iplehouse KID Lonnie)

      And have now :
      Naomi (Fairyland Pukifee Luna)
      Alhoé (Rhubarbe from Noble Dolls)
Mori (Nymphette chocolate tan from Nympheas Dolls)
      Miwako (SQ-Lab Tsubaki)
      Rina (Fairyland Minifee Chloé)
Arashi (LittleMonica Angel head on a ClassyDoll body)
      Akiko (Pullip My Melody custo)

      I wait for :
      Manon (Angel Gate)

    11. I try not to or I'll get too attached and think about buying them asap... But when I'm buying a doll, that's when I flesh out their characters to see if they match the sculpt or not.

    12. Hmm, I try not to. I just get this feeling that, if I try to pick out a name, I'll just feel super committed to the sculpt and will just have to get it. If I've already ordered it, then I think I'll let myself go crazy with trying to find the perfect name!

    13. Sort of- usually if I name a doll when I see it, it is the kiss of death and means I will probably buy it. But not always.

    14. The dolls on my wishlist are only there because their sculpt suits a character of mine, soooo I guess you could say they all have names waiting for them? Yep. My wishlist dolls are all named, except for my one grail doll.

    15. Haha, yes I do like all the time! I confirm the name with them when they arrive though :)

    16. It's always bad when I name a doll I don't have. It means I want it... Which is a reason some go on the Wish List, right?

    17. I think I would rather wait until I have already bought the doll...Because when I buy the doll, that's when I play their personality and clothes, etc. I recently named my IH JID Sierra "December" , but I began feeling iffy so I thought about it for a second. I wanted something shorter and something that went better with her look so I chose Dee. Her name is still December but likes to go by Dee instead.

I'm thinking of naming my other IH JID doll on my wishlist but I don't know what I'd name her and if I would stick with it or not.

    18. I am currently guilty of this lol. I really want and with any luck and getting a doll family h misha....her name will be Ursula which is german for little bear and her nickname with be LuLu. She'll be a tomboy of sorts.

    19. I try to come up with a name but I usually end up changing it once they arrive!

    20. I do, I create characters before them before they get here.
